Brain by Alia

Recently i have been coming along a lot of seriously graceful and beautiful productions. Alia’s “Brain” is no different and maybe even one ups it a bit. It has that mainstream appeal but still the verses especially deliver depth and the modern sparseness, that’s needed for the attention of the Adhd generation. Here is a serious new talent – and i wish her to maintain course and tun this into a real success. Give the track a few spins, follow Alia and add her track on Spotify.

The Slow Jam FIX Just In : Flamongo & Xloxlyp feat. Aria Dawn – Insensitive

giphy

Ok, we got a winner this year. Xloxlyp & Flamongo are now my favourite act (by far). Every track sounds like it’s made for the 4Chan generation. Insensitive seems like the OST of an imaginary romance between Jackie 4Chan and Brittany Venti, in a future movie about that whole Shia LaBaboon HWNDU fiasco (btw the best shit show in the world). In the age of virtue signaling, “Insensitive” is i guess how every rational person feels, when surrounded by the new Normies of our disconected society. And telling from the lyrics, they were going for that numbness surrounding people in this ADHD world of TMI, useless data, empty words that leave you triggerless. “Whiskey shots will cure it all” says it all, and is an instant winner in my book. Anyways this is the 2nd time i had a Xloxlyp track on repeat, this time while revisisting Metal Gear Solid on PS4. So if anyone can hang in my short gaming playlist with your song, especially if it’s a slow jam, w/o getting kicked out in a good 4h, while i am pulling stunts in the Afghan Desert, that is pure quality. Ps for some reason the track reminds me of Beyonce’s “Hold on” track w/o sounding pathetic, self-absorbed, self congratulatory and/or like Beyonce.

“Insensitive” should be mandatory listening when shitposting. The production is again dead on point w/o doing too much and over doing that whole future bass genre, which is just hot air anyways and sticking more to a modern slow dance style. Whoever Aria Dawn is, she does a damn fine job and the whole thing works. It’s not demanding too much, not promising anything, but again Xloxlyp and Flamongo deliver the goods.

MEMBA – Brave (feat. Dakk & GIIA) [Free Download]

i29bNcn - Imgur

The NYC production duo MEMBA creates a big momentum to start 2017 with. Their latest release ‘Brave’ is a great trap offering that will rise for sure within the next weeks. The mixture of Dakk‘s rap lyrics & GIIA‘s singing sounds like a conversation between both throughout the whole song. The beat has it’s calmer moments and transforms to something huge to slow down again afterwards. On top of that, it’s a Free Download folks, so go and grab it as long as it’s hot!

Molly Moore – Imaginary Friends (Pluto Remix)

ezgif.com-video-to-gif

Stumbled upon this neat future take of Molly Moore‘s “Imaginary Friends” by Plutoand i have to admit it’s been a while since i’ve heard a xylophone drop kickin’ ass like this one. Also like the guitar line and the trumpets. Molly’s signature voice sits nice on top of it all and i recommend to listen to the original song too. While you’re doing this you shall grab your Free Download as long as it’s hot!

Diego Raposo + Seyer – Maybe

64qkfwqjg1tx

Smooth instrumental production by Diego Raposo & Seyer from the Dominican Republic. We haven’t heard from them before, but their release “Maybe” is a calm and chilly future bass offering for you and yours and fits perfectly in my sunny-sunday-mood playlist.

Khwezi – Like an Animal

Check out my man Khwezi, hailing from Durban, S.A. Proper original hip hop feel, with some deep futuristic approach underneath the surface. One of those tunes that could go places in Germany, and especially one place, a real live dancefloor .  Don’t know if this an old r&b vocal that’s used or not, but who cares. If it works it works. Might strike you as too popish-american-radio at first, but when you get into it after 30 seconds, you feel the depth of the production, and unlike Mura Masas music, Khwezi definitely produced this tune without 3 sound engineers. So this reeks even more of  real talent & skills and amasses into a heavy, heavy tune. I think Khwezi will be a frequent on this blog, since i consider all 3 tunes, that i’ve heard so far, are a stay… in our dj crates and on our radar. So blessings man, and hit me up directly when u have a new one!
