Pretty solid dance tune by Stevens Avenue, normally i don’t post music videos, but i like it bc it’s simply fun with all it’s flaws and not so well executed production problems. But it was never about having a billion dollar studio and production. This one is fun. I’d like to sign this track to our label, full stop ;)

The singer slash rapper does a great job of convincing me of what he’s talking bout and he can stand his ground, just like the 2nd vocalist. The production is on point as always with Mr. Carmack, but this is even better because of the rappers. I even told my guess at the A&R meeting about it. I think this is a skilled talent, that can shine through a real skill level of over 9000 and needs no fancy name to shine, but rather to grow piece by piece, step by step. Enjoy this tune! Not much to say here, but give it a listen and go from “unimpressed” to totally “captured” by this tune. Darci’s first offering, at least that i noticed w/o doing any research, left a great impression on me. He must have previous releases with 7k SC followers, but everything is a stream/ is a blur these days and nobody got time for that. And “Seeing Colours” manages to go from slightly weird to super modern state of the art zeitgeist pop. And it happens naturally, almost like a sonic remedy. Well done sir! Now we know your name.
Another big choon, The Golden Pony delivers one after the other, these guys are gonna be huge soon, but it’s built on consistency instead of just a hype that fades out. What i always liked about them is that they don’t shy away from taking on any kind of sound or any style. Meaning there are always tons of diverse people that can go for it, perfect for the eclectic but still dance oriented floor. Many floors these days are just like Zombies waiting for that drop to spaz out. TGP was never like that, even if they take a popular formula like this and last years, house chords meets chopped vocals, or use a drop they still dodge the cheesy bullet by inserting their own kind of magic, and it’s great for the real big rooms as well as the petite little dj stints. So in my book they are on the best way to becoming a proper dance taste maker. And once they have reached that international recognition, they will not only be huge, but everybody’s gonna be like “how did that happen?” – and it’s gonna be the same answer as always “through consistency and hard work!” Welcome.
Best artwork out there. A gamer at work – love it. I wish more tracks “looked” like this, the track itself is serious quality too. I with the phenomenal vocals were louder while still as haunting. The Future bass drop is a necessity in the minds of many late trenders, while the style is already fading out. But already now the future synth drop feels so much like a generic style in Aug 2017. You mastered it Jazzpah! Vocals anyway but also production wise – on to the next level! But the next level is a whole new electronic style that will focus even more on vocals and top lining so you are well equipped for that! I passed this on to my label partners, this track is lovely and worth a serious release & push on Spotify!
