Nur Good Vibes. Und vorsicht, diesen NeoRetroPop bekommt man schwer aus dem Ohr. Sample = WIN. Zigos klatschen & I like :)
Another Mr Vegas post: He just released his Double Cd Set called “Sweet Jamaica” and i expected everythings to be pretty much like that very same song, but expectations will only disappoint you, so let me say the good things about his latest release – not that anything bad can be said against Mr Vegas ever – a favourite of mine in my all time book. First off, i am a huge Mr Vegas fan and CD #2 did not disappoint at all while #1 was leaning toward the current state of reggae, and that simply is not my style. CD#2 was filled with sweet jamaican tunes in a traditional roots style, sometimes a bit too much honey, but seriously it includes songs such as this one, which is just a funny interpolation of Desmon Deckers all time hit. I like the attitude, has pirate written all over it and i don’t mean – bootlegging & ripping stuff, i am talking about that pirate state of mind. like that. enjoy the tune and enjoy CD#2.
Gummy Soul – “I Can’t Get Off The Facebook”
One of the funniest tunes right now and a definite YUM YUM favourite is Gummy Souls Fb Tune. Get it for free via bandcamp . GS was featured on this site before, and i like all his material. Dig it!
seriously there are a lot of genius things, tunes and beats around and out there at present but you just see how bananas people go when you drop one of these 2001 beats. thats actualy whats lacking in hip hop these days.. these powerful dre beats. and every producer in the world knows why dr dre will and is always used as a reference when it comes to production, mixing, mastering. so dr dre and his type of production is being missed. One of these classics is :
