Well everyones been talking about their other (the real new) video “Sooner or later” but this one somehow slipped my radar. Both tracks have been featured on this website, last year already and this one in particular has benn a favourite with our YUM YUM crowds for some time now, but it takes nothing away from their “freshness”, quite the opposite . So Big up Xaphoon & Chiddy! Support them late august when the long awaited album drops. One of the few worth buying these days. Ps we are planning a full on german tour with them – with every YUM YUM city involved. Its gonna be good for the artistst themselves to play in real packed spots. More on that tour and their new album very soon..

A new Dj Shadow track always stirs up some hysteria. Too long is his list of accomplishments. Shadows been the inspiration, motivation and his early work the ultimate benchmark for beatmakers everywhere, so enjoy him go at it again with yet another sound collage or mashup (yes that word applies 100%). Have fun with this moody tune, and give him some dap @ Dj Shadow: Website /// Facebook /// Twitter

Right now, this one is on everyone’s lips around the web and yeah, I can really understand why. Laid-back track, perfect for warm summer evenings, you just have to dig it!
If you overlooked it so far, that’s your chance to get it in decent quality!
So enjoy listening to “Flight Facility”!

Big up to Cookin Soul, as usual they deliver the goods. Best remix of “Hello Brooklyn”to this date. A new reuse of Quincy Jones “Summer in the City”, there have been a huge stack of songs using that very same sample during the years, like Dj Spinna, the Roots, Black Moon, Nightmares on wax etc, etc – the list goes on and on, but i am really glad someone put it into such a nice context and made a real great vid to it. Enjoy this fine summer wine.

A favourite of mine for some time now. Had this short and simple drum edit lying around for some time now and actually never played it. But here it is have fun with it, i’ll include it on my latest mix and start playing it immediatly, starting this weekend. (Might have been around for some time now, but somehow it never caught on in Germany as it did in the Uk). Have fun.
