Before we get to the end of the week and enjoy a brandnew YUM YUM this Friday at Registratur and on Saturday in NRW, there is a holiday coming this Thursday so obviously there are plenty of things going on this Wednesday night. Lets get right into it with three things we picked for you.
1. Grandmaster Flash is playing tonight at Registratur. not much to say about him – but he is a legend and was one of the guys to invent deejaying or some praises go so deep as to say he invented modern deejaying itself, but i wouldnt go that far. Feels like going to see the Stones. They might be old but you cant´t knock them. More djs playing that night but i know that one of them is Fort Knox Five and this guy is doing something that can only be described as Block Rockin Beats. Somehwere between modern funk, big beat, uptempo hiphop and anything else inbetween, his records became sureshots and a must have for the post big beat generation.
2. Nice guy Tom Notfx is having his venue at Zerwirk. 
the night is called “Nice” and its about nice folks, nice music and i think you get the picture. He made a promo cd, which is more on a rock, electro, hiphop vibe and also eerything in between. Should be a good one, but he is up against some serious competition tonight and we wish him the best of luck.
3. Last but definitely not least, is the one night we are sure to go to: There is a Ramones Exhibition and Party at Netzer & Overath!!! Dont know if its for free since this is a bar, but hey its the Ramones and this is the kind of Rock n Roll i am craving for.
Since all promoters are friends it is hard to tell which one is gonna be worth seeing, so the choice is up to you.

Here it is: our Comic Book review of last Fridays YUM YUM.Comic Book of Friday May 11th.
Since it has officially become a weekly venue for the remaining six weeks of the Registratur – we all were a bit curious to see how it would turn out. Well it didnt change a thing – actually Stella (or rather me) got her (or his) groove back and it was a well packed night. How Stella got her Groove back: Relying on vinyl and not soley on Laptop dj solutions. Its a neat backup but there is no way (yet) how it could replace vinyls (quality wise) so far. It went down and after the exhausting, full powered hours of the prime time – we all mellowed it down by 5:15 and came to a definite halt at 6 a.m. Make sure to see us this Friday, May 18th as we turn the heat back up with a new installment of YUM YUM at the Registratur. Ps check the coolest Flyer ever for this Friday and stay tuned – there are plenty of posts coming this week. Had to keep it short today, for i was offline all wekend until half an hour ago.
