Great cover version, and among the best tracks this summer, imho. Always, historically ChromeMusic featured a lot of horn cover versions and this one of XO Toure Life3 is no different in quality and in the fun it transports. Ahoy Brasstracks! Fine job and mission accomplished.
Don’t they just look like 2 magicians from a follow up show to Arrested Development? You will love this tune, it has a lost feel of times long gone by. I welcome this very very much. One of my favourites this week. And if u take a look at their visuals, covers and “artwork” it’s never trying to do very obvious and totally unnecessary brand building, they are humans first. They call themselves a pop duo, i’d say that’s only halfway true, they are good enough to be ultra popular and have a real mass appeal, but have too much class to be associated with what pop music stands for atm. Welcome Eugene Marie. I hear & enjoy your passion, hard work, fun and the sonic remedy you offer ;)
This one is butter. Had this on repeat while i was off on vacansesssssyesyesyes, but i am still into this one. Still a few flaws, that can be touched upon, but the vibe is there and the man is believable. This will be on the DL for some time until we take it someplace else. Watch.
After seeing the cover i almost shied away from this tune, but what’s inside is a complete song, while the pic promises something different this tune will go down very very smooth ;)
State of the art, even with the double time claps. Well done Dominique.
Huge tune, creeps up on you when u don’t expect it. Really strong effort on the production and vocalist side, get with the voodoo that they do.
The singer slash rapper does a great job of convincing me of what he’s talking bout and he can stand his ground, just like the 2nd vocalist. The production is on point as always with Mr. Carmack, but this is even better because of the rappers. I even told my guess at the A&R meeting about it. I think this is a skilled talent, that can shine through a real skill level of over 9000 and needs no fancy name to shine, but rather to grow piece by piece, step by step. Enjoy this tune! Welcome Xavier!
