Fyfe is known for his more delicate notes, we see him perusing in the park on a brisk fall day, reaching out when we are at our inert state. A bit down the scale, we have LCAW, a up-and-comer beatsmith from Munich, you may remember him from the gentle remix of “Run” by Daughter. LCAW seems to be batting 1,000, deliberately picking songs to remix with precision that make sense and fit his talents.
“Solace” is no exception. LCAW gives Fyfe’s new tune a gentle nudge towards dance, not to overshadow the vocals but rather accentuates the tone and harmony. LCAW and Fyfe are a calming, peaceful match made in heaven.
