Young Sydney-based producer Cabu has teamed up with glassy-sounding female vocalist Akacia on his first release off of Majestic Casual’s record label, Majestic Records for “Gold”. The final product combines elements of trap, steamed in a neat mix of spunky synths and orchestral strings which blend effortlessly together with Akacia’s silvery vocals.

I was searching for a proper remix of Rihanna’s “Work” lately and haven’t found anything countable until yet. Glad The Heatwave sent us something useful to play at the clubs. Grab your Download on their Bandcamp profile as long as it’s hot.

Paper Giants is a new act from New Zealand and grabbed my attention within the first bar of his second song “Mind”. Tight drums on this smooth mid-tempo song leaded by a deep bassline + catchy guitar riffs and topped with soulful vocals.
