Guess what popped up in our mailbox? Right – new material by Vandelux. “Bright Lights” marks his first original release including his very own vocals which i haven’t realized on my first listen. The style differs a bit from his already known releases, but i have to admit that i like every single bar. This is what the young Canadian himself has to say about his latest release:
My original intention was to keep the track super mellow from start to finish but I ended up with some pretty gritty synths that I couldn’t resist working into the breakdowns. The second breakdown was originally pretty hardcore but after losing a bunch of work in a program crash I was left with about half of the breakdown I started with. Surprisingly, the accidental de-clutter gave the track some room to breathe and it actually sounded a lot better than where I had it originally, so I just kept it. Actually, I learn a lot from accidents.

Was sitting in my bathtub while searching for new music and this one suddenly popped up. Listened several times and i really like it by now cause this cover remix of Outkast’s “Ms. Jackson” has it’s very own special magic. This is their first release and the production style reminds me of Borneland & Jean Tonique. Free Download over here.

The DJ- and Live-Act Sonnengruss that i had the pleasure of meeting a few weeks back just released their brand new single called “Day & Night” feat. Matt Kovac. After the great success last year on Deep Chills Remix for their song ‘Day & Night’, which was signed by Universal Music Group, their entire production on the original is based on wonderful modern dance house segments and filled up with beautiful vocals – earworm warranty! They worked on this song over one year, but that was more than worth the work! With Sonnengruss we get a huge act, which wants to conquer the festivals and clubs next year with their unique style! “Day & Night” could easily be one of the strongest Tunes for 2017!
