Listening to this tune and a few seconds in, memories and images start to emerge. Cheap golden bling, neatly, tight plucked eyebrows, and some gear that’s definitely too tight for your thighs. All a bit ridiculous from todays perspective. And then MNEK’s remix kicks in full force and all i can do is grin. He manages to turn these images into a nice memory, makes me dig out the original tune and once more makes me wish i had the hips of an african lady…

As a 90s baby, i have never heard of Bob Seger before, i can only imagine what Night Moves means, or what he is actually singing about, or… whatever. Well, there’s always google but honestly i don’t mind and i don’t care. So what?
