Just a heartfelt song by Kate Grom. Haven’t heard of her before, and never bothered googling her… um, i mean duckduckgo’ing her. But i added her on Spotify. This reminds me of many great songwriters and that country style makes it all the way sweeter even if it’s not a european flavor at all. Pretty much like the Dixie Chicks used to be when they were still good, good days… Thanks Kate for an honest country tune.
Brilliant tune:
Their bio: “Night Talks is an alternative rock band based in Los Angeles, California. With vocals that are equal parts angelic and razor-tipped, bass and drums that drive, and powerful, shimmering guitars, they’ll remind you of the first time you stayed in your room all night listening to a record.”

Lovely folk rock singer songwriter gem that these sweet folks at Common Deer composed and sent my way. Give it a spin, i’ll guess you’ll like it as much as i do. Kinda sounds like an everyday mantra, when you are working online “There is no time to waste”. What i especially like about it, is that it sounds honest and has a bit of an 80’s & 90’s feel to it, w/o ignoring todays zeitgeist. Maybe not musically but the songwriting sounds like a song from that era when everything was pretty clear and obvious, and there was no hiding and nothing to be ashamed of. They deliver a solid rock track and mean it – at least as far as i can tell. Welcome Common Deer, you guys made my day with this tune!

Don’t they just look like 2 magicians from a follow up show to Arrested Development? You will love this tune, it has a lost feel of times long gone by. I welcome this very very much. One of my favourites this week. And if u take a look at their visuals, covers and “artwork” it’s never trying to do very obvious and totally unnecessary brand building, they are humans first. They call themselves a pop duo, i’d say that’s only halfway true, they are good enough to be ultra popular and have a real mass appeal, but have too much class to be associated with what pop music stands for atm. Welcome Eugene Marie. I hear & enjoy your passion, hard work, fun and the sonic remedy you offer ;)
Missed indie tracks that sounded like this a lot, there simple are not enough out there. There used to a golden age for these kind of songs and i am happy to have found this little gem. Enjoy while it last and welcome Loyal Lobos, hailing from Colombia!

Best artwork out there. A gamer at work – love it. I wish more tracks “looked” like this, the track itself is serious quality too. I with the phenomenal vocals were louder while still as haunting. The Future bass drop is a necessity in the minds of many late trenders, while the style is already fading out. But already now the future synth drop feels so much like a generic style in Aug 2017. You mastered it Jazzpah! Vocals anyway but also production wise – on to the next level! But the next level is a whole new electronic style that will focus even more on vocals and top lining so you are well equipped for that! I passed this on to my label partners, this track is lovely and worth a serious release & push on Spotify!
