Masters of War

Damn, is this song good! A live version of the legendary Roots Crew covering Bob Dylans “Masters of War”. I had this one on repeat for a 2 full h.. I can only take my hats off to Bob Dylans masterpiece, nod my head agreeingly to the words and simply feel the music of this beautifully interpreted version. Length 9.20. “You Masters of War…even Jesus could never forgive what you do…” Listen close…

Masters of War – the Roots /Bob Dylan cover

Mystery Jets

The Mystery Jets always make me smile with their lovely pop sound. Their new album Seratonin is going to be released on 5th July and above you see the new video for the single “Dreaming Of Another World”. Unfortunately I haven’t found the original song on the web yet, but here’s the Wooden Shjips remix, which is actually hardly different from the original. The only difference between the two versions is the solo at the end of the remixed one. I don’t want to discredit anybody here, but in my view a remix should be more than just a guitar solo put on original track. Whatever, much more important is that because the remix sounds the same, the track is equally good!

I’ve always loved this Proxy remix just because it’s not that typical Proxy chainsaw-stuff, which really started to annoy me with time.
