To be honest I never heard about Tapes `n Tapes till yesterday, but their upcoming Album “Outside” is already LP number three and from what I heard so far a pretty promising one. Just love the energy of this tune.

This is their new single, actually it came out end of November, but i reckon its still not too late to share with everyone, cause i dont seem to hear it enough outside of my dj sets and their new album “Mine is yours” is coming out the 25th of January. Finally an album by chromemusic favourite Quest, the man has a flow like none other and the music provides the much lacking deepness in hip hop music these days. Seriously Zombie thumbs up and a definitive moustache for all hip hop addicts. this is one of these fine modern hip hop online mixtapes/ albums that grows on you, after a while. a few tunes are great for the YUM YUM crowd even, but all in all more of a headnod, headphone, hoodie hybrid. you know what i mean, see you on my ipod on the subway, in a car deck, at workplaces and let me help promote this album on this side of the ocean. your opinion?

Tennis, her albums finally out and after becoming addicted to her “Marathon” tune in december, and simply listening to it for all of this cold cold xmas (this tune managed to get me out of bed softly each and every time), i gladly salute the first memorable album of this year: Tennis’ “Cape Dory” . chromemusic favourite Tennis delivers the goods on her debut album (?). Here is the afforementioned Marathon tune and another favourite. Make sure to check herout and get the album. definitely worth it!

Aeroplane, who have been a solid source for quality floor material for the last 3 years or so, have put out their full length debut album end of September. It hasnt gone by unnoticed, but still the title track seems to be popping up everywhere i go these days. And ultimately it hammered its way into my memory. So here it is.
ps pls dont think of hipsters when you hear this music (germanys a bit different than the states), good pumping music was there before hipster scum appeared on the scene. its a good thing those bearded ladies are dying out left and right. yep, let me cut through your delusion.
