The Shadow Years

The years and the phase of ChromeMusic and YUM YUM was left deserted and abondened by Chrome. No production. No Love. No One Around.
We had to break down the Matrix somewhere else.

Brain by Alia

Recently i have been coming along a lot of seriously graceful and beautiful productions. Alia’s “Brain” is no different and maybe even one ups it a bit. It has that mainstream appeal but still the verses especially deliver depth and the modern sparseness, that’s needed for the attention of the Adhd generation. Here is a serious new talent – and i wish her to maintain course and tun this into a real success. Give the track a few spins, follow Alia and add her track on Spotify.

Out Of Drugs by KelsyKarter

This track is lyrically so much on point and nails the current, modern destabilized relationship status of modern society so much. The way Kelsey comes across is as somewhere between Lana Del Rey and a grande dame of 60s music. The entire retro sound design feels like a window to the the past where we get to witness time travelling Amy Winehouse meeting with Lana Del Rey and they trying to recreate a Nancy Sinatra song. Well done Kelsey!

Koni & Jeongwoo – Sun Goes Down (feat. Lilianna Wilde)

Ever questioned the magic of the internet? This new track called “Sun Goes Down” is a great example of a worldwide collab, split across Germany, Korea and the U.S. The producers Koni & Jeongwoo have joined forces for this one, creating a late summer friendly track that will put a smile on your face. The song is about those moments of escape with someone … someone you might have loved forever or someone you just met. It’s those lustful, romantic nights that just feel like a vacation or the summertime. The vocal performed by Lilianna Wilde is a big part of this too, adding a mellow layer of goodness and giving the track its easy listening appeal. To help visualise the vibe, there’s a beautiful music video you can check out too, incl. an extra video showing some of the production steps.

“Sun Goes Down” is out now, available as a free download or via all major music platforms.
For the producers out there, you can also download the stems to create your own version. Enjoy!
