Chairlift has been a long time favourite on chromemusic, we loved their (as did the rest of the world) outstanding tune “Bruises”, the original as well as the Passion Pitt Rmx, but my very personal favourite one was always “Evident Utensil” and especially the MGMT remix, with that mental whisteling. Still love this tune

Our mate Robin from Stuttgart came up with this really tight housemusic mixtape. It is a live one take recording, strictly vinyl sounding raw and deep. Another nice guy and chromemusic favourite drops his new Album in May, here’s a foretaste. I always liked impelling pianos giving the music a ‘straight forward’ touch. About damn time i say, and i just recalled their very first show in germany they played with chromemusic in 2010. Hope to see them play again anytime soon. So so yourself a favour and if you only cop one record this year, make sure to get their debut album “Breakfast” via itunes + the free single of the week. Plus another additional Xaphoon Jones remix of phenomenal band St Lucia, to show his musical versatility as a producer… as if you didn’t already know :)
