Here we have a hero in the making. Apsleys latest release undermines him even more as a strong contender for lineage holder of the retreating style of Indie music. And as Indietronica wrote – “with lots of resemblance to an early The 1975”, especially with this song. It’s what i can best describe as track with a soul and deep human emotion. A very welcome change in a world of optimized streams and 15 min of fame youtubers, and a daring step for my partner, as this is his first label signing from the gut, and not driven by numbers. It can be a blessing doing what you love and following your heart, and you can brighten the days of many people, like you just did with this track.
