Here we have a hero in the making. Apsleys latest release undermines him even more as a strong contender for lineage holder of the retreating style of Indie music. And as Indietronica wrote – “with lots of resemblance to an early The 1975”, especially with this song. It’s what i can best describe as track with a soul and deep human emotion. A very welcome change in a world of optimized streams and 15 min of fame youtubers, and a daring step for my partner, as this is his first label signing from the gut, and not driven by numbers. It can be a blessing doing what you love and following your heart, and you can brighten the days of many people, like you just did with this track. Thx Apsley for the music and for reminding us of this very simple truth.
Great acoustic version of Rudimentals uberhit “Waiting All Night” found at the end of this post. Covering herself just proves how good a vocalist she really is. You may have heard her before on Bastille’s “No Angels” track which is actually a remake of TLC. I said it before and i’ll say it again. People are killing it these days with the TLC/Janet/DC covers, remixes and interpolations. Anyways expect great things to happen to Ella in the near future. Great cover. PS where is the DL?
Ella Eyre – Waiting All Night (Acoustic)

When two greats combine. Amzing cover by Ms Aplin & Bastille, which we featured quite often before and it seems that they finally and deservedly have earned their staying permit in the olymp of popular music. This tune gives me chills
This song is too good not to share. Taken from their free download Mixtape:
You can’t go wrong with a ‘Breakfast Club’ Intro:
“My God, are we gonna be like our parents?
It’s unavoidable, it just happens.
When you grow up, your heart dies…” (taken from Breakfast Club)
