I heard about Lady Daisey coincidentally – the usual, meaning the information thats meant for you will definitely find you – and i instantly liked the sound of her and especially the “feel” of it. I just heard this one song “Soul Strut” and was on the human search engine aka Twitter requesting the tune to anyone out there and she herself replied with the words: “Let me hook you up, i have good connections, lol”. Needless to say thats on a positive vibe…She sent it through (but the entire album) and i liked it all. One of these late nigths in the bureau and some sweet mellow soul music, and hippie sounding woman with a great voice giving it that special magic touch. Simply sweet.
I told her i was gonna write a review, but i lied, i am probably the wrong guy to be critisizing records, i play what i like and the rest does not exist to me. But the album is beautiful and just right for the summertime and so i will rather recommand buying her new album, lol: “Make sure to get her album, after you have seen the show, definitely worth it, plus always the best time to buy an album is after a live show. If that doesnt work out, here’s another way you can get it: its called Amazon. lol
And i found out more things like that she was playing some gigs with Mayer Hawthorne, her new album “In My Pocket”is dropping on BBE Rec, she is good friends with some friends of mine, she just recently moved from the US to Berlin, and then i simply had to invite her over to play a live show @ YUM YUM this Friday and LD was very much up for it. So come see her show this Friday, May 28th at YUM YUM Munich, and give her some live hugs +++ and give her some digital hugs on her various social medias:
