The collaboration between Lakechild and Lions Head is like a dream coming true to me. Ever since Lakechild popped up with ‘Diskostrand’ last year I was looking forward to a proper official release with some vocals on top. And guess what: That is exactly what they did –  Lions Head’s vocals are a perfect match to the atmosphere Nikolas & Dominik have created. I bet the studio session was pure fun in putting this beautiful peace of music together.

Lions Head – Firecracker

Lions Head put up their 2nd song on Soundcloud and it seems like they really continue their road trip to paradise. With “Firecracker” it feels like the German/American Duo invites us to a warm summer night at the campfire…With all our loved once, cold drinks and enough blankets to stay up all night. A night full of laughter and love – and sometimes when you look up in the sky even the shooting stars seem to dance.
Just this weekend Lions Head has been the support of Milky Chance – I guess that’s a really good start to reach the milky way and who knows who will stay longer stoned in paradise :)

I know, I know…A song 2 months old looks like we aren’t up to date :) Sometimes it happens that I don’t like a song by hearing it the first time. But when it shows up in my playlists again and again I recognize the good in it. Or 2 months later it fits so much better in my life…this happened with this song. After a weekend in nature,long walks and a deep breath this is the kind of music I listen to. Enjoy!

May is one of my favorite months of the year (at least in Germany). The sun is getting stronger and warmer day by day, most of the time you still need something to cover in the early mornings or late evenings but for me it always feels like even the earth is taking the first deep breath and starts to lean back and relax a bit more than the months before. People seem to remember how it feels to be outside, how it feels to breathe in some fresh air and they start to lift their chests up again. After months of just starring at the ground. Yeah, people smile again and so does nature too.
So go out, prepare your bicycles for summer, plant some flowers and enjoy our lovely collection of…
