Door #19: The Best Song this Winter PERIOD. “Dirty Habit” by Reece Lemonius & Lui Peng

This is the follow-up to Reece Lemonius first Song ‘Love Me’ that went viral on some bad hombres YouTube channel and garnered 20 Mio Plays in 10 weeks! NOW that’s true virality but ultimately that copyright trespassing channel got deleted and the plays along with it. Nonetheless, the track is performing spectacular for a no name’s first offering. And this is a team-up with fellow London native Lui Peng, who did quite a lot of solid releases so far, and has just returned from a successful Asia tour. These two made the sexiest love tune of the season.

Dirty Habit is Pure Gold

And finally about “Dirty Habit”. This track is the chillest, smoothest, sexiest track out there. It plays on all clichés, caters only to the mood and feel it captures the listener in, and ultimately it ends like a sweet dream, leaving you to crave more of that honey. It has the aesthetics of a european chill tune, but also the lyrical rhythmicalities of a US R&B/Trap Rap tune, w/o ever turning into a cliché, but still unique and fresh on its own. It definitely fits in each an every playlist from chill to pop, urban, r&b and almost everything else. Dirty Habit can stand next to any big name (tried and tested) and still come out on top, feel and mood wise. This is how comfortable i want to get on a chill night with my girl, and this is how my happy place sounds at any time. Definitely the strongest track right now.

DIRTY HABIT is BIG. Let’s see how long it takes until the world finds out about it!

Door #6 in our Advent Calendar!

Hey folks and everyone else, it has been exactly 7 years since i did my last honest, passionate YUM YUM Top Tunes. And exactly 14 years since i started the whole thing. So here we are ;) Crafted with flextape, this is just a solid selection of the latest released tunes, many moods, NPC feels for your sonic entertainment and soundtrack to life. All tracks were released within the last 4 weeks (with few exceptions). And it’s good to see that our own releases can keep up or do even better, with the quality new releases/songs out there. What used to be our remixes are now actual songs and quality material that can hang in our global top tune selection,.

Top Tunes are back – just as planned .And just like the good old days, it’s filled with our own versions, productions – the difference this time is that we own the copyright, and no tech giant is gonna bitch about it, or delete it. The technocracy is falling anyways. Long live the new land. Have fun with these sweet tunes and our new selection. Still prefer Mixtapes any day over any Playlist. But that’s coming too.

Door #3 : Free Download of “PFOS” by Mat McHugh

Nr 3 on our X-mas Advent Calendar holds a Free Download of one of our favourite releases on our brand new Chrome Music Label. It just came out and still has room and time to grow and shine. The story behind this tune is that the original, which is one of the most beautiful acoustic songs in my collection, has been a long time favourite on our side of life. Remixing or rather re-imagining this tune proved to be tougher than originally anticipated. How would you change anything to the better, if you already think it’s perfect? So i took a diff approach and got inspired by a movie called “the Red Turtle” and took on its dark, menacing but still loving and humane touch. And this is where the animation comes from in the video.

I am really happy with the way PFOS turned out and it’s definitely a track for our monthly Top Tunes selection. Time to bring those back I’d say ;)

PSA: ChromeMusic Radio Show @EgoFM Every Saturday Night 9 to 11pm

We are really, really happy to announce our new weekly ChromeMusic Radio Show starting today saturday september 12th on South Germany’s & Munich’s local radio station EgoFM. Airtime will be from 9pm to 11pm  every saturday night. This collaboration was meant to be, since EgoFM popped up some years ago and started doing exactly the same on the radio as we have been doing on this music blog ever since we first started in 2004: Searching the almighty interweb for new music, new talents and share it with everyone on this planet (or at least the ones who follow us:).

We will focus mostly on the new predominant styles of music, mainly new Beatmakers & modern Electronics, Tropical, and homegrown productions, which mostly tend to be Deep House and simply Organic Grooves, as we have always done. But mostly of all we will try to diffuse the beautiful music that’s out there and that’s all around us and bring it to the light (or radio show ;) And our most sincere intention, is to give you a weekly soundtrack of positive new tunes and uplifting sound waves to have you dancing and grooving along. And maybe, just maybe you will get to hear a tune that will have your heart singing!

Now that you know our mission, here’s another Goodie for you! You will find the Mix every Monday on ChromeMusic and we hope that sounds like a good way to your week;)
