just in time for our huuuuge YUM YUM new years eve party, here are the selected 50 top tunes of 2010. i know we ignored a whole bunch of tunes, that we especially as YUM YUM or chromemusic helped make big in our lands or even make it to the peak positions. remember our buddy Stromae?, Ben L’oncle Soul? or that song about the italian that doesnt speak any american-english lol, and many more… but seriously its not like i can bear hearing any of these tunes anymore. the old media has just being overfeeding us with our very own stuff. so here is a list of tunes that we played in 2010, some like mayer hawthorne were even released in 09, but that didnt stop us from coining these tunes in 2010 and thats why they belong here (its just very few exceptions anways). Some mellow, some soulful, some exstatic and some simply beautiful. pretty much what makes up YUM YUM. we had & have an amazing time playing these. thx to all and everyone for making YUM YUM what it is, namely.. one love

YUM YUM New Years Eve Party in Munich @ Münchner Stadtmuseum

Yes, finally here is the announcement for our YUM YUM New Years Eve Party. We are doing a huge Co-op party called ‘One Nation under a Viertel’ on New Years at an amazing venue, @Münchner Stadtmuseum, and its only a 3 min walk away from Gärtnerplatz, and a good 2 min from Marienplatz. Being this central, its everyones area code. We are really looking fwd to this huge come together of most our peoples & friends and we have so many YUM YUM djs in town that night, that we decided to do YUM YUM on 2 areas/floors.

One last & final massive night ahead of us @ Puerto Giesing, the last and final YUM YUM night this Saturday. We had some great parties there, and the location had its pros and its many cons, but it was a gateway and a path we had to take to all the other new options that are on the horizon right now. Well where are we gonna go from here? Very simple – lets start with New Years Eve – the YUM YUM New Years Eve is gonna take place in, a mad, mad location in the heart of the city, which has never been opted for parties before, and is no more than a 2 min walk away from the old Registratur and really, really close to Gaertnerplatz. So we are back in the in the middle of the “Viertel“. SUPRISE!

The full on info will be online here next week and the NYE tickets are gonna be available from next week on (in our partner shops). So farewell Puerto Giesing and hello “Viertel”. Reunited with our former partners from the “Registratur” & our new companions and fam “Team from Hell”.

To celebrate all that we are handing out a few hundreds (!) new YUM YUM MixCds this Saturday, make sure to show up early and catch one. Will be online next Monday for dwnld. See you in a sec and really looking ffwd to this massive throwdown!! Enjoy this months soul gem and see you in a sec..

Finally YUM YUM takes place in Cologne on a regular base, starting this Friday @ Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld. Really lookin foward to a massive dance with Chrome, Tand Williams and Cem responsible for the music

Yes, hands down! Its about time, we’ve had a really good attempt at throwing YUM YUM in Cafe Leopold over a year and a half ago and it went down a storm with the crowd going nuts, even with the lights on. The Dj set that day was the same – Beware and me (oh and Functionist, Kamikaze and Motorpitch). Why it took us so long, nobody really knows. You’d expect it to go down in Vienna almost from day one, but there was always something not working out a 100% so we kept on digging until we found the right set up (no offense to every else involved before – you still are involved). Didnt want to go into the whole thing half hearted.
