Sonnengruss & Richard Istel “Talking In Your Sleep” (Savage 80’s Cover – Power Level 9000!)

Freaking awesome. My guys Sonnengruss aka Tobi & Dominique with their buddy Richard, recorded this monster of a fun pop song. I had it on repeat and their video wins the 80’s nostalgia award I was also involved into the fun creation to a minimini – mal degree, but them guys had too much fun doing it. So hooray, best Sonnengruss release so far and Richard Istels vocals actually sound like he is made for that kind of big tunes. And the video is Awesome AF.

I don’t know if it’s just my 80’s fanboy-ism but i have been missing power anthems, everything is sad and dragging these days or totally degenrated voyeurism, but this one is postive all the way through, and is sure to land on every party playlist, form the lazy ones to the bog rooms. Love it! Put it on and see how often you will have it on repeat ;)

Soundclown Link for Hypem. I heard some people out there are still using Soundclown. Must be the Russian Bots the FBI is talking about, but wait the FBI was caught lying about it… confused…

Wake Up by Loud Forest

The first song of Loud Forest i have come across and they impress at first listen! This is what they wrote about the tune and i couldn’t agree more

“This song is about loving someone who is super independent. You love them, you have all the feelings of intense love, but they are always out there, at arms length, just beyond your reach…so it feels like a dream…so I say to myself “you’re imagining this, it’s a dream you’ll forget, wake up it’s over”. Because it feels like a love affair with all the emotions and feelings, but one that is ever so slightly unreal because that independent person is never totally there within reach. It’s kind of like “pinch me, is this real?” But not because it’s too good to be true, but because it’s a love, a distant love that does kind of feel like it’s not real.”

Brain by Alia

Recently i have been coming along a lot of seriously graceful and beautiful productions. Alia’s “Brain” is no different and maybe even one ups it a bit. It has that mainstream appeal but still the verses especially deliver depth and the modern sparseness, that’s needed for the attention of the Adhd generation. Here is a serious new talent – and i wish her to maintain course and tun this into a real success. Give the track a few spins, follow Alia and add her track on Spotify.

For You by GEO

A bit trippy and that’s what we like over here. Imagine we were on holiday and had some shrooms on us, and we were so caught up in our work, our daily worries, and in over-thinking and over-talking things for the first 2 weeks out of 3… that we forgot to eat them. Shame, but that’s not bound to happen anytime soon again. It’s how you feel after having done everything to follow that feel. I need the shrooms soon though to look and see who is next to me. Metaphysically.

I like that this sweet zeitgeisty production has some serious depth to it. Probably wouldn’t listen t it on shrooms, but a perfect kick back n relax tune for many occasions, and i dig how organic it sounds although it is a electronic tune with a soulful layer.

LAZER BLADES – Heartbreaker

This one goes so deep in the retro feel, that i wonder why there is not a goth in 8bit on the cover. A lot of elements that you will recognize from the early to mid 80’s synth bands and an instrumental that would make any video game or cyber warrior movie proud. Great!
