listen to the tunes after the jump
A friendly Trap rework to not skip altogether into some American EDM or other noisy styles. Stays true to the original. Everybodys favourite song for a long moment and a half. Somehow alwys kept procacrastinating but here it is finally:

Here are the lyrics as a flowchart :)
Staying true to his formula: A Dilla 2013 Beat, a somewhat clean, almost sterile beat with an old school funk flavour, reminiscent only of tunes gone by or modern soulful house and a quirky r&b vocal that undergoes heavy compression and is left enough space to unfold as is essential in these ADHD days of music. It’s a winning formula – and a really good one!
Much appreciated Remix by the McCaulay Culkings Experience. Essential for the floor these days with kids going apeshit to 90s R&B. And yes it’s a yum yum version!
Had to re re do that 2011 yum yum version and guess that’s what train rides are for. Sounds alright and went down very well on a few YUM YUM test sites :) That Drum & Bass flavour is a great contrast to everything being 70 bpm all the time these days. Always liked that double time swing especially when paired with a yum yum tune of that calibre – pure prime timer. Makes no sense playing it anytime else in your sets.
