Lovely gem by Todd Kessler. Picked this post a few weeks back but didn’t get back to write this post. Finally here it is and definitely worth checking it out. Give this very heartfelt and warm tune. This is one of those tunes that caught me totally off guard, but should be really playing on the radio with it’s quality & sweet songwriting.
Just hanging out on holiday and this sweet album came across. Lara dropped us a line, for her awesome track “Voodoo Doll” but i think her entire album deserves some attention. Voodoo Doll is my favorite after many a listens, but still her work needs to be listened and appreciated as a whole or holistically ;)
I think many can get with this, after everything these days is music, cut down, designed and portioned as fast food for easier and faster digestion. Lara makes honest and real music and that is something i came to appreciate a lot after even more things become, not only politically and in the media, an echo chamber, but even in music, which i think is even worse. So i salute this sweet artist and here sincere album. Welcome Lara Antebi ::: Bandcamp ::: Spotify ::: Website ::: Zuckerbook
Newcomers Boneage from Moscow, Russia with a solid indie pop production. The duo consists of producer Leo Vasilets and 21-old singer Dani D and this is their first official single called “Drown in the summer”.
This little EP is the current project by producer Patrick Zappia from LA together with the Californian based solo artist Modern Crusoe. 3 Indie Folk songs inspired by Local Natives, Wye Oak, and the Central California coast. And though it’s me floating through the greyish foggy atmosphere of the German fall over here right now more than watching mirages in the desert with this music it’s possible to dream of the lonely cowboy showing up by the end of my street, a blade of grass between his lips, inviting me for a ride…
Show some love on Spotify since this is the only way for artists to make money out of their dreams nowadays…sad but true. My personal favorite – Feathers & Twine ;)
WILD is an indie pop trio based in Los Angeles, CA with lead singer Kristina Antuna, Guitar and backing vocals by Zach De Geantano and the second Guitar by Tyler Thompson. “Silver & Gold” is their strongest tune so far and a uplifting indie pop song taken from the “All We’ll Ever Have” debut EP.
If you’re following my posts and actually read my sometimes too “diary-styled” thoughts about the music I am sharing with the world, you might know me well enough to understand why this post needs to be in my collection. Simply the words “Buddha”, “Real” plus a tasteful and creative video are enough to get my attention. Even better if the actual song makes fun as well :) Have fun watching this inspiring video below and show some love in supporting this likeable guys called “Buddha Trixie”, who do NOT surf rock music! ;)
