I used my first day off (TA-DAY!!) to make this island vibing remix of the infamous “Hold the Line” tune, mixed it up with some of my favourite vocals and laced it on top of the 80ies Sleng Teng Riddem. Heatwave definitely brings the heat (again) with a proper reggae refix of a tune that now fully lives up to its name. Big up them guys, we have written about Heatwave over and over again, they deserve more credit than just a quick fb-like. Actually about 30% of my more recent reggae-infused material i found through their help. So salute them and this refix, which is probably the only version of Monster i will play from now on. Ps Nicki Minaj’s verse is still unmatched. check it
