After the last fabulous and Über-massive YUM YUM a few weeks back (where even a dozen “Stormtroopers” showed up), which now already seems like years ago, we are really looking forward to this Saturday. After having put a lot of effort into the location last time, we are here to have our first night without some Football/ World Cup interference. Really looking fwd to playing with my main man this Saturday. As you can see by the sheer amount of new posts, we have lots of great new music to offer and i am really looking ffwd to a new massive dance this Saturday. After Mayer Hawthorne came over to make the munich’s soul stepper community go wild, der Kongress (aka Registratur) & chromemusic managed to get Aloe Blacc into Puerto Giesing this autumn. “I need a dollar” THE soul-summer-track 2010 and title song to the HBO series “How to make it in America” made him to a well known name and honorable representative of the Stones Throw label. Everybody is invited to have a great time with us and especially of course those who want to share this special soulful Aloe Blacc feeling of the everyday struggle at Munich’s exceptional harbor.

new YUM YUM in Munich, this Saturday @ Puerto Giesing

This Saturday  YUM YUM munich takes place @ Puerto Giesing (check directions via google maps).  After a great Start in P Gee, on one of the hottest days of the year – (seriously i dont know what happened to the weather after that) – we are looking for yet another massive night at this great venue. The first night was too much fun, just telling from all the smiling faces that have been there. The Soundsystem is really well tuned, crystal clear, booming on the dancefloor, but not screaming outside, there is enough space to dance, enough bars, there are way enough seats and couches… i could go on… the place is pretty much what this city needed. And there is more to come… like we are considering doing a concert on the roof top, maybe a classic hip hop installment. Anyhow, we still found a couple of spots which needed some improvement and we got to work on them to make us feel even more at home. So expect more and make sure to be here… this one is gonna be a hot summers dance and a massive night. See you in a bit..

new YUM YUM Munich this Friday & Puerto Giesing Opening!!!

Finally Puerto Giesing is having its official Opening.

After all the official hassle ist finally done and Puerto Giesing will open its gates this Friday night with its very first YUM YUM. We are real happy for this place to finally open up and YUM YUM will take place here for the next 3 months (twice a month, always on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month except of course this Friday. We promised you the kickoff and here we go – Djs will be Chrome & Notfx with a special dose of YUM YUM Summer tunes. We will try to have the entire venue figured out real nice by Friday, but of course everythings a process – just like the old Registratur was. Speaking of which they will do their parties there as well. So sounds like THE place right now. Really looking forward to this one and there are lots of good surprises planned for the next dates. Lookking forward to this friday – gonna be massive..
