Discotechs rmx of the Polices classic Roxanne. Works up a storm on the floor. Tested and tried. Safe to drop for the deejay, controlled crowd damage. Here ya go:
[audio:http://www.chromemusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/roxanne-_discotech-remix_.mp3]great remix that just fits the vibe and title of the song. sounds like the good life feels. rate this way higher than the original. too bad i don’t have the Stretch Armstrong remix in a better resolution or that would be a perfect add to this post. Big up the Silk man for this remix

This guy is one of the pioneers of the old german techno/breakbeat/house scene and he made this outstanding and ridiculouly dancefloor treatment of MGMTs gigantic anthem “Kids”. Extremly mixable and check the added keyboards, which give away a lot of his Italo influence. He even reprogrammed the drums on the same drum machine to make a properly mixable outro and break. This tune does it all. respect the architect…
He will probably be getting down with the entire YUM YUM/ Top Friend Entourage in the near future since he moved to munich recently and is extremly interested in the new styles, does some good production etc. We’ll see more of him in the near future.

I first heard of this guy last october, didn’t have a proper mp3 to post and now that Chew-Fu took on the remixing duties (too bad i only received this in 128 kbit) – i think you should give it a listen. This is gonna get played, i like the teeny humour and the productions really on point. This is about what Hip Hop should sound like these day. Entertaining and modern. Need a proper mp3 to play it out loud… so hook me up.

Sounding very 80ies with a thick Miami Bass touch to it. I used to start out djing on Miami Bass so guess who is gonna have this tune on heavy rotation. Also much appreciated: the remixstarts out with the Andres vocals and the john Legend part gets a baile sounding break and beat-rework to make it listenable. Love John Legnds vocals and the original was one of his few tracks that simply didn’t cut it for me. Much appreciated Remix.
I was on a shopping spree with She-Hulk Shanti, and she was showing some serious sneaker love:
Here are 2 biggies from last year that were all about sneakers.
