Oh so many news to tell you! I thought about editing this first post on ChromeMusic about our most favorite project we are working on right now. But I decided to take you with us on this journey and to give you the chance to see our whole story and effort we put in this by heart. You might notice we changed our cover design and hope you like it!

So the news is…The YUM YUM’s are now available on Spotify! Their first Single with the Australian talent Mat McHugh called High Up! is officially out and this is something we want to share with you!

Our beloved friend and my hero of visuals and animation Chris did this wonderful lyric video. Thank you for improving our ideas and going the way with us since the beginning. We all are going to Berlin in September to shoot a little teaser video. Mat is coming over to play live with the YUM YUM’s in Germany and Holland. Fetsum – Colours of Hope

Good good friend of mine and always a rock in this ever changing experience of life, Fetsum, released his solo effort entitled “Colours of Hope”. For years in the making and it has always been sparkling on the horizon, Fetsum finally did it. This really adds happiness on top of my happiness, to see a good man go his way. The Album has rave reviews by the Rolling Stone Magazine, NME and whole lot of french and Uk Mags, saying stuff like “best soul album of the year so far”. The songs are a heartwarming experience from a man whose music is all about love and not a single line that is meant to cause harm is spent on the entire album. To put it in other words, that a few will understand, this is a healing album shared with everyone. At times peculiar but very accessible bc of its general “feel good and enjoy life” vibe. Uplifting and empowering music if you let it. Watch the beautiful and human video below.

Below you will Fetsums tourdates for Germany, its him and his band so go check them out. As soon as his tour is over we will have him over with a trimmed down live show at a few YUM YUM Nights, and definitely before the end of the year. This man has our vibe. The only thing i know about Y’akoto is that i’ve watched her Tamba video after the release and totally underestimated her.

Today i’ve found her EP on iTunes and bought a copy instantly. Enjoy this little musical collection i’ve made for you and make sure to support her.

All I Can Do Is Love You Tour & Mix

We’re growing and growing and you might have noticed that there is a little tour called the ‘All I Can Do Is Love You” tour, featuring three cities in Germany in cooperation with K-Swiss. After the massive birthday and tour kick-off in Munich last week, there are two tourdates left for this week: Frankfurt and Berlin.

In Frankfurt this Friday YUM YUM will go down at Walden together with our well known residents Schu, Schowi and Chrome, plus a friend from Frankfurt: Julian Smith from the Live Demo crew.

Continuing on Saturday YUM YUM will be at Berlin’s favourite spot – Scala with local residents Schowi and Ben Mono together with Chrome and on the second floor we will have a 90s R&B/Soul party with good friends San Gabriel & Lilly Flip a.k.a. Candy Club.

The whole tour was the motivation for a new mix, done by Tand Williams and Not:fx, which we handed out already at the last two nights and which is now available as free download or as a podcast.

YUM YUM & Bday Party at Registratur this Friday

YUM YUM this Friday, November 21st will be our birthday party with almost all the YUM YUM djs coming down: Schu, Not:Fx, Schowi, Tand & Max and my self. Like written so often before – this will be the start of our petit tour (FFM, Munich & Berlin) – you know thats the tshirts and the whole stuff we hooked up with K-swiss. Recheck the YUM YUM tees and get some. Ps our Tour Cds will be handed out to the first guests. No need to tell ya this night is gonna a be a massive round up of creative folks and full blast of YUM YUM material and sound. So join us for our b-day party @ Registratur. This is definitely gonna be our last b-day party at this venue since its supposed to be closed down somewhen next year. Ps there is gonna be a Top Friend floor in area 2. see you Friday..

yes there is  new YUM YUM mix on its way (too be honest its actually a couple ones coming), but this one will be handed out the same night everything goes down in Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich (Nov, 21st, 28th & 29th). it will be also available in our befriended shops the week after our mini-tour.and after that you’ll find it online.
