Ever questioned the magic of the internet? This new track called “Sun Goes Down” is a great example of a worldwide collab, split across Germany, Korea and the U.S. The producers Koni & Jeongwoo have joined forces for this one, creating a late summer friendly track that will put a smile on your face. The song is about those moments of escape with someone … someone you might have loved forever or someone you just met. It’s those lustful, romantic nights that just feel like a vacation or the summertime. The vocal performed by Lilianna Wilde is a big part of this too, adding a mellow layer of goodness and giving the track its easy listening appeal. To help visualise the vibe, there’s a beautiful music video you can check out too, incl. an extra video showing some of the production steps.
“Sun Goes Down” is out now, available as a free download or via all major music platforms.
For the producers out there, you can also download the stems to create your own version. Enjoy!
Soundcloud is over and Spotify is the new playground. This track came out 5 months ago and it’s more than destined for the summer time and beyond, much further beyond. Pretty much like Matt Simmons or many of the other tracks with that beach, tropical, summer feel in mind. It has amassed over 3 Mio plays so far (!!) and is grinding out loads of plays on different college radios and on Spotify on the daily, while it’s still far from peaking! . Funny how that all changed and Spotify alone is the driving force behind this tune, w/o any promotion whatsoever. Let’s see where Spotify pushes this tune to show its dominance and make it among the first tunes to climb the ladder from within Spotify to the outside world…So now here is the first “promotional post” for Sideways which is the very first of many tunes to come by Seaside Highlife. Reminsicent of many things like Milky Chance (Songwriter), Kungs (Horn Drop), Matt Simmons (Tropical Feel) and many more along the lines. Pure summer time feel and feel good fun. Plus that funk feel gives me the goosebumps. “I see you dancing…” Have a greta summer!
I simply like the production and the overall vibe of this song and therefore have to share it with all of you. I haven’t heard of Førd before, but i think we will in the near future as his third original installment is pretty darn awesome. State of the art production topped with great vocals by Xavier Dunn are making this song outstanding and worth sharing.
I discovered Flyboy not too long ago. Maybe some 6-8 months ago and found his nice approach to remixing tunes always borderline genius. It was a no-brainer that he had to come up with an official release, an original, and he did it for our little label. And even this first one is already a winner. He, like so many of the young talented cats ie Deep Chills, seems to be at his best when he has something to build on, and in this case it was Coby Grants beautifully, laced and thought through vocals and the Onyx Twins great groove. The track is epic and sounds like a warm mid summer night, that soothes all the mindfuck, that might suggest that something’s not ok… hence the title… cause everything will be ok!
One might bemoan, and mostly the artists themselves, that it’s a deep house tune, well i am from the generation that was dealing in proper Deep House, and i guarantee you that is simply a sweet jazzy Swing Pop tune with an infectious horn hook, nothing even close to Deep House in its original form. So that’s that! This will be here with us for this summer and maybe even beyond. It’s been out for a minute and already entered the portuguese iTunes charts and even the top ten dance charts. And this is exactly where it needs to be, cause this is where europe spends his summers. Spain, Portugal and Italy need to pump it and then it comes back to central EU. Pretty much what happened with Milky Chance and all the likes in recent years. So, i am keeping my fingers crossed for Flyboy, who is still a very young guy and of course still shy and skeptical of his each and every step, but with a very clear vision. Enjoy the tune and support his first official release!
This could work as an reggae-esque, moombah grooved, afrobeats pumping, electronic rerub… And you know that you have a good song at hand, when people contemplate about remixing it. So i guess let the remixes begin…
