Even though unanounced, we changed up the dj roster for this Saturday @Viennas Loft to give you a guaranteed 100% YUM YUM night, so just ignore what the flyer says: djs will be chrome, tand williams & local crum, + the top friend floor will be run by my man dan gerous & local nice guy dizzy. be in for a treat, come down to the dance, take the heatwave with you and see you in a bit. will be massive.
Yes, hands down! Its about time, we’ve had a really good attempt at throwing YUM YUM in Cafe Leopold over a year and a half ago and it went down a storm with the crowd going nuts, even with the lights on. The Dj set that day was the same – Beware and me (oh and Functionist, Kamikaze and Motorpitch). Why it took us so long, nobody really knows. You’d expect it to go down in Vienna almost from day one, but there was always something not working out a 100% so we kept on digging until we found the right set up (no offense to every else involved before – you still are involved). Didnt want to go into the whole thing half hearted.
Since this is gonna be a monthly venue, make sure to go sign up with our Vienna Facebook group, will be supplying you once a month with party invites, new YUM YUM top tunes & our mixtapes (cause party invites only, definitely suck – we had to find out the hard way, like i guess everyone else on facebook). Our Vienna Goodie Mail (Newsletter) with bonus downloads & other gifts will be available for Vienna from January 2011 on.

Really looking forward to this one! A assive night ahead of us and really nice seeing some old friends again.
It was the hottest day of the year, so the city was deserted and about everything that could move fled the city. we had a great time though with tilman, tand, beware and me and schowi spinning. nice trip to the ever loving people of vienna. we had a blast and will be back with a regular YUM YUM in a regular location about late September/ October. This was a one off for the Kswiss tees we just released.

Its been a long time coming:
We always wanted to bring you the YUM YUM sound in an Open Area. Too bad there aren’t any good ones in munich. Thats why it took us so long. Especially with YUM YUM being cut dow to only one date a month (believe you me – it wasn’t our idea) people have been asking us for a second date and have been urging us to geta 2nd date – but frankly there weren’t any good spots in munich – every other location besides Registratur would have been a Ghetto Upgrade – and we didn’t want to have a 2nd YUM YUM just for the sake of it – we decided to wait until we had a good spot – even if only for one night.
But on Wednesday, May 10th its on (theres a holiday the day after, k?). The BBQ & Open Air Area starts @ 9pm. Main floors start @ 11pm.

With us as Munich residents and original team – Chrome, Schu, Not:fx – guests are coming in from almost all other YUM YUM Spots: YUM YUM Berlin – Schowi, YUM YUM Shanghai – Kamikaze and YUM YUM Vienna – dj Beware – which is premiering the following Friday, June 12th @ Cafe Leopold. There are supposedly 3 areas, i really hope that works out, A YUM YUM Main Area (huge spot – with a great soundsystem), A YUM YUM Open Air Area another huge Garden with some delicious BBQ food by the cook of Walther & Benjamin and a rather smaller and noisier Top Friend area. You will be in for a treat.
This is the first gathering of some of the YUM YUM cities and venues and i am really looking forward to this one. We ll get to hear the YUM YUM sound of 4 cities and some good friends of ours are coming down – just like a huge family reunion. This is the reason why we are going other places – to have this kind of exchange going – and its worked out very well everywhere – with the right mindset, attitude, care, friendliness, setup, people and the right friends who understand what we are doing here. (ps after the summer there are 2-3 more cities being added to the YUM YUM network)
We will be giving out the new YUM YUM Vol 9 and a second Mixcd we made specially for our people. And there will be plenty for most of you.

Well the first date at cafe Leopold is confirmed and the few people that know about it are already spreading the word. We took so long because we are trying to set up YUM YUM Vienna properly. There are strong ties to this city and we are looking at a monthly format right now, more infos coming soon. The first date will be Saturday, May 30th with me and michael on dj duties. Meaning Beware & Chrome for the opener. Here is a new remix by man Dj Beware which is “voll gut” (thats right go look up that german online dictionary):
