Loft in Music

January 14, 2010

Loft in Music (this friday – if you dont wanna get) Lost in Munich

These are some close friends of ours who are playing at Loft this Friday, before the place closes down in 2 weeks, sadly enough. So enjoy the last days in this mad venue with these likeable 4 guys on the tables. All 4 of them at times play at our parties and even play @ out of town YUM YUMs, so you see how much trust i put in them. Be there if your in the area, for them guys playing and ps you gotta see this beautiful joint.  Anyway – i’ll be like fifty and you know where you can find me..

Here is the party on Facebook – Rsvp now (just kidding)

Here is some music from the Generic People Djs from Cork City, and you guys might dig these tunes and play them out loud on friday. check the GP Djs out on ::::myspace::::souncloud::::

Happy new to one and all! We’ll be back in Berlin this Saturday at a new venue – namely TUBE Station (on Friedrichstr 180 – right in the midst of it) after the amazing throwdown we had @Picknick, in late december. YUM YUM Berlin moved and made Tube our new residency, where our monthly venue will be from now on. Djs will be Schowi, Chrome & Palina Power and the 2nd floor will be run by good buddy Giampiero & Soul Lady Amenta. Come down this Saturday. Will be huuge!

Darondo Soul Drums Trishes Edits

January 12, 2010

Trishes is a pal from way back who i met through Fm4 in austria and he is always on some really soulful, classic stuff. Here is some new material that he sent through. Soemtimes good things just need a new outfit..

“hello,

my edit of the gorgeous darondo song “didn’t i” has been out online for a bit (http://soundcloud.com/trishes/darondo-didnt-i-trishes-edit). now, it’s finally getting the vinyl treatment too thanks to the good
folks at the loud minority. these guys put on some of the most interesting shows and dj gigs here in vienna/austria and have now decided to press up limited edition 7″s from various friends. the
darondo edit on the a with an old favourite by bill withers on the flip, my contribution to this great series (which will also feature up hygh, dorian concept, the clonious, waxolutionists & lewis mccallum
among others) will drop in approximately february. hope you enjoy this and thanks in advance for your feedback & support! T. ”
