We already introduced you this lovely singer songwriter girl a while ago. Sara Hartman’s song “Monster lead me home” is on my phone’s playlist since then and I couldn’t imagine surviving the metro without listening to her emotional voice anymore. If you check her out on hypem you’ll see I am not the only one who felt in love with her. This cover version of Jamie XX’ song “Stranger In A Room” is her 2nd upload on soundcloud and I am pretty sure the one or other resourceful remixer is gonna use this simply beautiful piece of art…

TIL: Alex aka. Estervalley is living in the small far-eastern russian town called Komsomolsk-on-Amure (wait…where?) that is close to Japan. Google just told me it’s MINUS 25 degrees there today so I can imagine “feeling blue” is not uncommon over there. But any heart needs some warm and sweet music like this from time to time, especially if you are the “Monday – Blues” kind of person like I am. Make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, listen to his whole EP and keep your heart beating.

Hospital – Ariel

I’ve become a couch potato over the last days. Uhhh so badly. One reason why I struggle the most with this is because I can’t blame anyone else for it and I know there is no other excuse than my own laziness. It’s up to me to accept these kind of days and not to be angry with myself. Hey you, I tell myself, it’s January, cold, dark and completely fine to cuddle at home for a little while. The Hospital surely know this feeling, since they come from Russia (what a surprise actually, cause their music really sounds like the typical british indie pop to me). Their song “Ariel” just reminded me instantly how it feels to go out riding a bicycle or driving the car with the windows open. Can not wait to feel the first warmish air of spring time again…Meanwhile I listen to this to get up…

As the music lover and sound nerd that you are, you’re surely aware of the existence of Majestic Casual, one of the biggest Youtube channels around. Since its early days we appreciate Nick’s work and v/b/logging skills in finding the sound that they branded Majestic, then putting it into endless playlists and giving the youtube channel business a new definition. Like we did years ago with our YUM YUM Parties that turned into a bordercrossing juggernaut, Majestic Casual is starting its own events this year. Their first event will take place next Friday Feb 5th in Berlin (what a surprise, haha) and the line up for this night should get you excited: Snakehips, Tom Misch, good friends Still Parade who are managed by one of our closest associates & buddies, and old school veteran & friend Munk, who is oddly hired and musically somewhat out of place here, but will definietly raise the average age to at least 21 and give it some groundedness. I want to be honest. This should have been the Premiere of TRAILS’ outstanding Remix of Mothica’s “You Will Forget Me”. Well, thank you for the opportunity and so sorry – the dudeism is our religion sometimes. Especially in winter. But this doesn’t mean we lost our good taste cause this is definitely a track the world needs to hear. It’s one of the tracks you press play, think about the first minute that you can’t find anything special in it and right at the moment where your attention is about to die it catches you instantly and you want to listen to it over and over again.
