One of my all time favourite Marvin tunes (I want you) from one of the coolest Soul albums ever, gets a respectful remix treatment with a Mos vocal from the pretty rare “Summertime” 12″. What a chill tune. Suddenly i feel an urge to make a new mixtape. Definitely one of the best tunes of the new “Yasiin Gaye” album.
This is how an open hearted happy tune sounds. Jill Baylon sounds so inncent that my mind is making up images of swings at a farm house, kids playing in the fields and, and, and… Simply a nice folk tune with a summer vibe to it, that is so light and easy.
