Another one by my favorite fellas, TGP, and again in the unbeatable combo with Dasha Akelin. I think as stated a few times before these fellas could very well in some time, go down the Chainsmokers route. But until then it’s just about having fun and releasing good tracks and mostly, i believe, experimenting, until they have their clear signature synths and effects. They definitely need even better songwriting, especially with such a beautiful voice as Dasha’s. Until then support them on every platform, but mostly Spotify cause this is the only place where it matters atm. Heads up here is TGP with another winner!
Sounds like a late summer tune, mellow in every nuance and might be best categorized as future pop. Really dig the vibes Luna spreads here. The singer, although most certainly unintentionally, has a similar vibe to the late Sade Adu, and that is pretty huge for a name that just started out. Dig the artwork and the subtle production. All in all, very rounded and more of a vibeful manifestation of beauty than a planned out fabrication to hypnotize the listener. Very welcome.
The first song of Loud Forest i have come across and they impress at first listen! This is what they wrote about the tune and i couldn’t agree more
“This song is about loving someone who is super independent. You love them, you have all the feelings of intense love, but they are always out there, at arms length, just beyond your reach…so it feels like a dream…so I say to myself “you’re imagining this, it’s a dream you’ll forget, wake up it’s over”. Because it feels like a love affair with all the emotions and feelings, but one that is ever so slightly unreal because that independent person is never totally there within reach. It’s kind of like “pinch me, is this real?” But not because it’s too good to be true, but because it’s a love, a distant love that does kind of feel like it’s not real.”

Our entire crew like the production on this duet. This has some sincere hypnosis to it, if you let it. A pop song with some sincere commercial aspect to it. Unique in many ways. Really hard to put my finger on it. Love it or leave it alone!
This is a DJ’s pick, love the lo fi feel of it and the heavy atmo, with it’s sparse keys in the back and the tender vocal that breezes over the ever changing but monotonous beat with an organic, almost live feel. Very solid production and nails the Zeitgeist of now and beyond. Enjoy the track and pull it out at your next sets. Well done Dunmore Park!
This must be my favorite beat atm. Perfect execution of the perfect lo fi , slow dynamics, “empty” sparsely filled tune, that will become more and more in the near future. It’s an expected evolution when people are receiving too TMI at almost any given moment. I can only agree and am a living example of the TMI Genration. Why do you think so many people tend to meditation, mysticism, spiritualism and try to find peace inside themselves that they cannot find outside? So this is the kind of tune that works on a stream but also in any place where you want to drop it. Great gem! Enjoy this gift of music.
