This Friday, November 17th, YUM YUM is having its 2nd B-day Party @ die Registratur. We have really been anticipating this extravaganza for some time now. Djs for that night will be Chrome, Schowi and the 2nd area will be occupied and entertained by Clip Club, who is a good friend of ours and will be the very first one to deejay and mix videos and music videoclips on some small screens & tv sets which will be surrounding his booth. Do not wanna give away too many spoilers, but there are some huge things moving your ways. PS.we will make sure to come up with some in-advance presents this week. Also will we be playing the best & latest in YUM YUM Sound on Friday. A truly big night ahead of us. Get prepared for a nice
dance this friday, put on a smile and pack your dancing shoes.
Always worth re-checking is our monthly YUM YUM top tunes selection. This months winner has to be that mix of Fergie and James Brown. Mr. Browns old soul classics can surely and always revamp anything that is out
there. Also still packing some major heat seems to be last months YUM YUM top tune selection, which is due to its quality still causing some major ruckus . Enjoy both selections and get warmed up for Friday.
Reviews of the past weekend are coming tomorrow (still waiting for some footage) and there
have been quite some things going on with Primo in Munich and the Opening night in Düsseldorf.
Yes, these two biggies are going down, this Friday.
On the very same day, November 10th, these two great joints are happening – but in two different venues and two different cities.
YUM YUM Opening is in Düseldorf at Harpune with Djs Chrome & Tand, while Dj Premier is playing at Registratur, Munich.
YUM YUM converting a new city while Rewind hosts a legend.
The very first YUM YUM night in Düsseldorf – in the great atmosphere of Die Harpune , one of Germanies prime Minimal Clubs. Djs will be YUM YUM residents Chrome & Tand Williams. We are really looking forward to the new branch of YUM YUM madness. And for our new visitors here is our monthly YUM YUM Top Tune selection for November. YUM YUM Düseldorf no has Ãts own subsite as you can see in the link section above. There you’ll find all neccessary reviews, previews, announcements, plenty of music and all relevant material. YUM YUM GROWING AND GROWING…
Also this Friday: Dj Premier will come down and play his only German gig on a Rewind night in Die Registratur. Should be outstanding, seeing one of the greatest living hiphop legends come down and play live and direct at a fine club. The solid concept of Rewind provides him with the year 1994 which has gone down in history as one of the years with the most rememberable Primo production. 1994 Top 30 songs as video feeds. Here is a solid Primo interview: Part1 & Part 2. You know what to expect at both venues. PS Rewind will be filmed and posted next week – on Monday.
Ps next week Friday November 17th -YUM YUM will have its anniversary and B-day party @ Die Registratur. There will be plenty of specials, gifts and surprises coming your way. On the night as well as on the site. Ps enjoy our plentiful new funnies.. See you in a bit.
1. A good, solid Hip Hop album is Lupe Fiascos debut album.
2. The new John Legend album is a soulful work of art. Again.
3. Ameries new track has to be one of the most danceable tunes at present. Not as good as last years “One thing” or nearly as catchy, but it effortlessly incorporates some Hallo & Oates material.
