Jack White (from White Stripes fame) and his next Superband. The Raconteurs with their smashy “Steady as she goes. The track is also to be found in April YUM YUM top tunes list – as seen above. Cost me a good twenty to cop the 7. Could have almost pressed it myself. |

The classic “Genius of Loveâ€? by Tom Tom Club. Sampled all over and one of the coolest and most copied tunes ever. The club was a project by two of the original members of the Talking Heads. This is the original from 1981 – Still a monster track. |

This Guy, C505 aka Yoshi Sodeoka, recreates classic rock videos and songs in a Martix-like style. Heard a lot about it, this is the first time I get to see it. Check out Jimi’s Purple Haze version. Pretty cool. |

Group Home “ Superstarâ€? One of those classic tracks that you simply can’t get out of your head. Very simple and raw. Once again a Premier classic. Both rappers suck, although this is one of their best verses ever – the instrumental alone holds it down. I know tons of people who were loving those classic tracks for the pure instrumentals but couldn’t stand the mcees. (that’s what made so-called trip hop/ instr rap so damn popular) Who needs the talking anyway – it’s like having malcolms mom as your girlfriend. Blah, blah, blah… |
