A favourite of mine for some time now. Had this short and simple drum edit lying around for some time now and actually never played it. But here it is have fun with it, i’ll include it on my latest mix and start playing it immediatly, starting this weekend.  (Might have been around for some time now, but somehow it never caught on in Germany as it did in the Uk). Chew Fu Roundup

Finally, it’s the last week of my exams for the summer term at the university of Munich (two more to go & I’m done!), so by the next week I can at last engage in my favourite hobby (searching for fresh music). Until then I don’t want you to be in a fix (besides all the great tracks by Chrome, Max, Tand & Irving!), so I got you a small roundup (yeah, again…) of new (ok, just slightly new – I’m just too busy right now) and old “Chew Fu” remixes, tracks & edits.
As chance would have it, my last exam must be written at saturday and there’s gonna be even a YUM YUM that night. No doubt that’s the best occasion to celebrate this circumstance with my fellow students and you folks out there! Moreover I hope I’m going to see the first fans wearing the new YUM YUM tees!

After having put a lot of effort into the location last time, we are here to have our first night without some Football/ World Cup interference. Really looking fwd to playing with my main man this Saturday. John Legend & the Roots “Wake up everybody”

John Legend & the Roots will drop their collaborative album ‘Wake Up!’ on September 21. Its determined to be a pure cover album and will feature remakes of classic songs by artists including Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Donny Hathaway and many more. The first single, ‘Wake Up Everybody’ is a rendition of Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes’ 70ies classic, which also features Common and Melanie Fiona. We have had their cover of Ernie Hines classic “Our Generation” up on the site a few weeks back.
