The Fête de la Musique, a non-commercial festival which takes place in 340 cities all over the world.

Berlin is a partner of this nice festival which developped a philosophy, I really can identify with. Many many cultures, a huge genre-diversity and lots of people having fun together. That’s just how the beginning of summer should be celebrated! Quite lucky that I’m here right now, and I hope Shir Khan, Bonaparte, Zombie Disco Squad and Renaissance Man will play some nice gigs.

It’s already that time of the month again and we’re happy to celebrate June’s YUM YUM with all our dear friends and a lot of smiling faces. DJ duties for the night will be up to Tand Williams (that would be me) and D-Nice (who’s down @ 100Meister for the first time). So make him a warm welcome. We’re really looking forward to another edition of HUG LIFE by taking the sunshine right from the streets and put it into your hearts. See you there.

On the occasion of the upcoming release of Kele Okereke’s first solo album “The Boxer” on 21 June, I provide you with a small selection of his new songs. So here we go with the first single “Tenderoni”  (plus rather good remixes) & two additional tracks.

Btw, the album is produced by Alex Epton, better known as XXXchange. You may know that guy from a couple of  fine remixes (e.g. for Santigold, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Yeasayer or Thom Yorke). He’s also responsible for Amanda Blank’s last album “I Love You” & lots of other good stuff.
