Since 2010, YUM YUM makes the beautiful people of Krefeld go bananas once a month and with the start of 2014, YUM YUM will move to a new location to make the fun even bigger, the dances nicer & introduce some future specials.

To make a statement to the unique sound of YUM YUM, Krefeld resident Chris Burton put together this sweet mix, consisting of classic YUM YUM versions only. Play this one out to your friends and make sure to join the Re-Opening Party in Krefeld on 25th january, if you happen to be around. The YUM YUM Krefeld Crew & their guest DJ Kamikaze from Berlin are looking forward to celebrate a night full of quality YUM YUM Tunes, good vibes & friendly atmosphere.

Mind blown! Sting & Robert Downey Jr – are like the musical Avengers singing “Driven To Tears”. I still cant believe what happened when Sting invited Robert Downey Jr on stage!

They should get more Marvel actors/characters on that stage! I imagine Iron Man on lead vocals, Thor on electric guitar, Captain America on on the harp, Hulk on drums, Nick Fury on the keys, and Scarlets Black Widow on female lead vocals.

PS Love this song! RBJ needs to record a cover album of The Police, Robert Palmer & of course old Sting songs pronto! And it should be called: (i’m an) Iron Man in New York.

Let me introduce you to a new segment – Artist Top Tunes. We’ll have artists we like presenting their very own Top Tunes. It may be their current favourites or maybe some motto playlist. Here’s where we feature their selections in a fine handpicked playlist! Anyways welcome to # 1!

The first one is about LCAW, this young kid from my hometown, has been a favourite of ours here, not for his unprecedented production skills, not for his charms or anything like that. He just selects the right songs to edit, plus adds a little magic and there you go. And i am a full on supporter of that production approach when it serves the quality of the music – And IT DOES!

The only way to still play this Stevie Wonder classic in 2014 or last year is this mix, by mega producer Flexican from Holland. The guy behind Major Lazers biggest hit “Boomaye”! Oh my, and you all thought diplo did it… Anyways, anything this guy touches will turn to gold. That’s why I had this Moomb rmx in my last years top tune and I’m still playing this tune to floors everyhwere I go. And there have been so many awful mixes before, especially mashups and it’s not that I’m superstitious, no seriously…

..these days when it comes to Stevie Wonder remixes. But here’s finally a reanimation of the old Stevie I can agree on, in the most state of the art possible way of producing it. WIN!
