this “Thursday” September 21st we will have a little YUM YUM Special at Registratur with some extra special guest DJs from New York City: The Rub. They are pretty much the best party in New York for the last three years from what i hear. It is very close to what we do with YUM YUM on this side of the ocean, and their press reviews speak for themselves. The night will be a monster of a party with our three guest djs alongside Tand and Chrome as 
homegrown ammo. Here is the POSTER/FLYER for this THURSDAY. Enjoy their website with its unique selection of mp3 material and songs they are gonna play. So if you are hanging somewhere close to this side of the ocean or wasting your life at the Oktoberfest come by the YUM YUM Special and have a dance 
& drink, because there sure isn’t anything as good stopping by Munich anytime soon. YUM YUM Sound from New York is something that we are really looking forward to.

Good News everyone… (as Prof Farnsworth would say). YUM YUM on Friday and Saturday. Its actually even three different parties this weekend – almost didn’t mention MaiMun. But first things first. Starting the weekend out is YUM YUM this Friday, September 15th, at Registratur. With the YUM YUM Sound brought to you by Chrome & Tand. The second area is gonna rocksteady with the delightful sounds of selectors: 
Benjammin & Ur-as. After that we will continue our journey up to NRW with the very same team playing at Hundertmeister /YUM YUM NRW this Saturday, September 16th.
On that very same day Munich will have the first day of Oktoberfest and after that the opening party of MaiMun on Saturday, 
September 16th at Woandersclub. With a modern rock selection by Djs Die Redaktion. Check their site for further infos. Be on the lookout for the highly anticipated first MixCd of MaiMun. To be found at Chicas, We shop, Optimal records and Play records. Or simply follow this link for a mp3 version.
Also don’t forget this Friday the new YUM YUM Cd will be finished, hopefully in time to be handed out that very same night. YUM YUM last Friday, like every year it was the night before the Oktoberfest opening so obviously the streets were empty because everybody was saving their energy for the Opening on Saturday. We had about half the amount of our regular customers and we still were the most packed party that night if not the entire weekend, not counting the Oktober-Drunk-Fest. And boy it turned out to be a brilliant night. By 5 in the morning we were totally running on empty – after that nightlong and exhausting dance. A mashup extravaganza that brought some of the most meorable moments to life as well as some long forgotten gems. Tand was coming down on some really nice stuff and some new version that he brought along as well as my very on new versions and September goodies. All blended in to make a perfect mix that would boost the dance. Truly worth a YUM YUM night. Still had to save up some energy for next Thurdays YUM YUM SPECIAL with our guest Djs from NYC: The fellas from the Rub – Cosmo Baker, DJ Ayres and Eleven. Man – nobody should miss this one – even though its on a Thursday night. See you on September 21st.. |
YUM YUM last Friday was truly a slow storm on the rise and when it hit prime time all hell broke lose. We were bouncing back and forth between musical categories. Playing everything – from the recent mixes & versions to the YUM YUM classics. Got packed kinda late but it was the last day of summer and the weather was an absolute phenomena compared to the last two weeks. A grin & smile was found on every face inside the venue. 
Sound difficulties with the P.A. were covered up by the sheer amount of feel good music YUM YUM provides you with (and fixed by 1 A.M.). The place was vibing along to a monster of a vibrant sound that was unwinding through the speakers. Thanks for making it mine.
