This remix is placed #1 on the hype machine right now and i think it’s well deserved cause it’s a very nice remix of Childish Gambino‘s “Terrified” by producer Zikomo. The style of his remix reminds me a bit of Kaytranada and i hope you like it too. Have a good time out there!

How about some new disco music? Los Angeles-based duo Donald Eley and Tiger Smith alias Isle&Fever with a new single called “Far Away”. Reminding me a bit of Chromeo, but without their signature vocoder elements. This is what Tiger has to say about the track:
“This track evolved out jamming on another song we haven’t finished yet. It all started with the simple piano chord progression we put down on our Nord Electro II. Once we tracked the stereo funk guitars with the syncopated bass line, the vocals just came to us. It has a night time disco vibe that works well with driving to somewhere adventurous.”

This artist popped up on our radar lately and we dig the vibe of his 3rd song ‘Beachside Lover’ mucho. As far as we know, or better: what the mighty internets told us, is that Josh Tobias is from Brooklyn New York. Aside from the fact that he seems to be a quite talented musician/singer he seems to be on his road to riches and we’re really looking forward for more to come. Also i think he should consider getting his soulful 80’s sounding (huge compliment btw) on other productions in the near future (only my two cents…). Think his voice would fit nicely over a Disclosure production or some of the emerging deep house from Germany, that seems to be taking over the world right now. Once more: We love the discoish-funky 80’s style, plus that every song has it’s own character. Keep it up Josh! Could be huge if you stay on course.
