That one´s an instant favourite! “Be My Man” is the first single of Asa´s “Beautiful Imperfections” Album and is simply a great feel-good soul tune. The perfect way to start your weekend. Beautiful Imperfections is her second Studio Album and was released last week in Germany, so if you like the song… you know what to do;).

I really enjoy this riddim, because it picks up the positive “island-vibe” that you hardly get to hear in dancehall music anymore without it sounding corny. I put up my three favorite tunes on this by Beenie Man, chromemusic-favorite Cecile and Busy Signal (of course). So put these on your iPods – or whatever your listening device of choice is – and pretending it´s summer should become a lot easier…

:After having had a looong trip to Asia with Max & Schowi, i am seriously urging to play some music and this sunday we will, at a party we call “chromemusic Special”. Next YUM YUM in munich is in 2 weeks on the 17th this month and mondays a holiday so the timings perfect. The musical direction will be pretty much what the site has to offer and of course in a positive and feel good way. We like it nice and easy.
