This artist popped up on our radar lately and we dig the vibe of his 3rd song ‘Beachside Lover’ mucho. As far as we know, or better: what the mighty internets told us, is that Josh Tobias is from Brooklyn New York. Aside from the fact that he seems to be a quite talented musician/singer he seems to be on his road to riches and we’re really looking forward for more to come. Also i think he should consider getting his soulful 80’s sounding (huge compliment btw) on other productions in the near future (only my two cents…). Think his voice would fit nicely over a Disclosure production or some of the emerging deep house from Germany, that seems to be taking over the world right now. Once more: We love the discoish-funky 80’s style, plus that every song has it’s own character. Keep it up Josh! Could be huge if you stay on course.

G.A.M.M. records where the first one to come up a with a seriously good remix of Jill Scott’s ‘Golden’ and we used to play it on our YUM YUM parties. Ever since i cannot listen to any other remix, if you know what i mean. This one somehow caught my attention. Funky gem for your playlists.

Nice rework of Dorondo’s “Didn’t I” by Australian producer Flex Cop and inspired by Breaking Bad’s Epsidoe “This It Not Meth”. Always loved this sample
A new Mixtape (Free Download as usual) mixed by yours truly. Just a quick half hour long sum up i did yesterday with some ‘urban’ favourites i don’t get to play at YUM YUM. Hope you enjoy it pretty much with the sun up, and finally providing the energy to get your step on to this little roundup. No surprise here, no tricks & no gimmicks – just a solid tape. Pspsps With The Barber Shop becoming a girl/lady favourite night, a new edition of the Barber Shop is happening tomorrow night (RSVP) with Taran & chromemusic veteran NLP on the decks, i guess this could be called a promo tool hahaha. No, just kidding, have fun with this one. Download right here: on.fb.me/11Iokuf
