A short edit of my favourite tune at the moment. Just a quick little double timer for the djs, and all the folks who wanna incorporate this brilliant gem in a mix. Promised this to be online saturday, but the weather was marvelous and i had to take some time off to be for myself and so i chose aloneness, hahaha… Anyways, here it is: But first give the band some credit for their amazing original and the fun you will have with this tune, buy supporting them on their bandcamp site. ps check the label Wah Wah on Facebook, there are plenty more gems to discover. I found myself a fan at first glance. Expect this tune and the Hackney Colliery Band in this months YUM YUM top tunes (coming tomorrow:)

It’s impossible not to like a pretty Nova Scotian girl, especially one that makes great music. Just try to stop yourself from dancing to the chorus. I had to turn this song off yesterday because I was afraid I was moving my head a little too much in the library.

My main girl and overall YUM YUM sweetheart Coco told me about this track like ages ago and i kept forgetting to put it online, then my buddy & co-author on chromemusic Danny, just recently hit me up with the video to Zaz amazing live version of this tune and its more than worth sharing. The lady must be big in france by now. Support her, the entire LP is worth checking out and Je veux keeps humming in my ear.

Jenn Grant – Getcha good

Canadian folk pop singer Jenn Grant was utterly new to me just a few days ago, until a friend of mine (had to be a girl) sent me this video. Think it really has some fun-filled uplifting swing and sound to it. Good music to forget these cold & short days. “Honeymoon Punch” is her 2nd album and i can only recommend it if you are into that type of sound. Here is the introductory track of her album, go check the lady and her superb 2nd album out. What a lovely voice and this has to be my favourite track of the entire album:
