New single from one of my favourite bands! This is their new single, actually it came out end of November, but i reckon its still not too late to share with everyone, cause i dont seem to hear it enough outside of my dj sets and their new album “Mine is yours” is coming out the 25th of January. Cant wait! Support these guys!

Seems like the blogosphere is going nuts about The xx’ producers Jamie xx’ remix of Adele’s new single Rolling In The Deep from her forthcoming album Adele 21 which will will be released on January 21st 2011. Well so am I. Unfortunately there is only a radio rip available for now. From what I heard the release for this gem is planned for somewhat short before the release of Adele’s long player. Till then please try to blend out that MC for yourself in your mind and enjoy this one. I certainly do.

A new 11″ (haha) by our dear buddy DJ Eleven (Twitter / Homepage) from NYC. It’s called “Every Freakin'” features Mike Baker The Bike Maker (again – haha) and was just released a couple of days ago. I really dig this but don’t take my word on this. Listen to it yourself and check out what Joe (Eleven) has to say about it:

Vancouver’s Kutcorners contributed a great bassline for the original version. Mike2600, Illo + Keam, and DJ Ayres all flipped really good remixes. And, Kalani did a fantastic job bringing the artwork for it all together.
Since this is a single we do not provide you with a hq download link but highly recommend to buy this via your favorite online dealer. Know that the release includes a couple of fabulous remixes by DJ Ayres and others. You’ll find a couple of links below. If you dig the sound you’ll find a gazillion of free stuff (I smell some mixtapes) on DJ Eleven’s homepage as well as on the homepage of THE RUB which is Joe’s infamous DJ squad. On June 22nd the Roots will relase their 11th album “How I Got Over”, and from what I heard so far it will be a pretty good one. For their first single they feature one of our all time YUM YUM favourites John Legend. Make sure to get their album via amazon, itunes etc. when it dropps

Our friends across the ocean, the Starter Djs just have released their Album “The Flavour” via the blog world, and i reckon this to be the only way to do it these days.
