With all the things happening in the world, the uprisings everywhere which are spreading throughout the world this year (no matter what the surpressive content), not just the middle east, and all these evil hierarchies (corporations & countries) losing its grip and even worse to them, losing their meaning, by people simply ignoring and neglecting them, a whole generation and ideology of powermongering is coming to an abrupt halt and end. but like every power that ever disappeared, they are not going down without a fight, or dragging as many people with them as they can. thats why this YUM YUM classic fits the mood.
but that system is outdated, does not apply to the globally connected people anymore, its outdumbed by the people who were tried to be kept dumb, a certain percentage of us has outgrown that hierarchical idea. its old news, nonrelevant anymore and simply has to go, its like the end of the dinosaurs. welcome brave new world.

William Fitzsimmons – Passion Play
I had so many songs I wanted to put up. First I wanted this then I realized that I always post melancholy music, so I considered posting a more upbeat hip-hop type song, but I haven’t heard any great new hip-hop songs lately. Then I considered posting a song off my friend’s band’s new cd (Sing Me Insomnia), but then I realized that cd was in the top 100 on iTunes so they’re not really a band that needs press, plus they’re an almost powerpop band. Then I considered posting a song that my friend and I recorded but that song was really pop-ish and I am not a huge fan of bloggers who post only their original material (despite the fact that my next post may be one of my originals). So here is the great William Fitzsimmons singing his song Passion Play, incidentally, Mr. Fitzsimmons just released an amazing new cd entitled Gold In The Shadow, and I would strongly encourage all of you to go about purchasing it if you enjoy this song, or at least listen to his new cd.

We are helping create, and actually we are co-initiating a charity event for the unimaginable triple disaster (tsunami, earthquakes and a nuclear disaster) that struck Japan. Its happening on and offline. Since this is a local event, and mostly concerning our german and especially locally based people here in munich, i have to apologize to all international readers and will continue in german:
Vielen, vielen Dank
Hier noch ein Interview mit Patrick Gruban (we-r-japan) mit Moritz Wohlrab (Aktion Deutschland hilft)
