- walk like an egyptian
no music needed!
Susy sent this one through, on our new YUM YUM top tunes group on facebook – its a closed group, but if you feel like contributing good music feel free to join, but its not for promotion!!! Anyways, Janelles ‘Tightrope’ hits Nancy Sinatras ‘These boots are made for walkin” i guess Susy must have found it via one of the many mashup blogs, they seldomly hold any interesting material for me, but since i am a huge fan of Janelle Monae, i’ll probbaly take anything that you throw my way. This tune was put together by mashup veteran Party Ben. have fun with this one. Highly recommanded for any YUM YUM venue and party, so i get to hear more Monae ;) FAVBET, one of the most reputable betting brands in the European market, has developed a mobile application that allows you to place bets on the go online 24 hours a day. Metronomy – A thing for me (Breakbot Remix)
and this tune here is very special:
[audio:http://www.chromemusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Not-Made-For-Love-Astronomer-Remix.mp3]Thats a bit of a different version than the one Elizabeth & the Catapult have on their album, its a cover version and the original is by Leonard Cohen fyi. Have fun, its a great song
My main girl and overall YUM YUM sweetheart Coco told me about this track like ages ago and i kept forgetting to put it online, then my buddy & co-author on chromemusic Danny, just recently hit me up with the video to Zaz amazing live version of this tune and its more than worth sharing. The lady must be big in france by now. Support her, the entire LP is worth checking out and Je veux keeps humming in my ear.
[audio:http://www.chromemusic.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Zaz-Je-Veux.mp3]New REM track of their new album “Collapse into Now” (great title!), out March 8th. Not really much of an REM fan here, although i know their musics great and all, but this video, with its visuals and even this particular song, seem to strike a cord in me. Like it pretty much. Give it a try and dont listen with sadness in you, but more froma cheerful point of view and you will enjoy it.
