YUM YUM this weekend Friday 18th and Saturday 19th

Two great new YUM YUMs ahead of us – Summer seems to make a little comeback or a quick step revisit this weekend and so does YUM YUM. Friday August 18th YUM YUM is back on at Registratur / MÃ¼nchen and just one day late Tand & Family are running things up north with YUM YUM NRW this Saturday August 19th at Hundertmeister. In addition here are two new YUM YUM tunes : Mary J Blige vs the Game(YUM YUM Version) & And personal favourite – Damien Marley vs Aguilera (YUM YUM)
Also on another note:Good friend and producer Notfx sent us this refix of just previously posted Lilly Allen and alltime favourite Lauryn Hill. Another neat new YUM YUM Version – and mix of Doo Wop and Smile. Hope you enjoy all of these three tunes and we’re all

Another missing link to this months No.2 on the YUM YUM top tune selection. Not a big fan of Miss Aguilera but the vocal kinda seemed what the original Damien Marley song was missing. Lilly Allen – No 1 in the U.K.

Lilly Allens website (best place to check out her music) – didn’t find too many interesting lps this year – actually less than ever and no, it’s not that i’m not into new things – au contraire – i very much am, but there is barely anything coming out that isn’t either watered down routine crap or has any deepness to it or that transforms new styles (not too many in recent years) into anything likeable. i guess the music market just slowed down for the pure lack of money. that is why i think we really are into something with our YUM YUM Sound. We are not being fed by the corporate music world. ps lilly allens lp is actually a nice thing, a little something i would expect from J-5 or so, but here is this little girl pulling out the hammer and nailing almost every other artist/record at present. check her out – and i like the strangeness of it all…
