we-r-Japan, Münchener Spendenaktion für Japan, online und diesen Freitag, 1. April am Odeonsplatz

We are helping create, and actually we are co-initiating a charity event for the unimaginable triple disaster (tsunami, earthquakes and a nuclear disaster) that struck Japan. Its happening on and offline. Since this is a local event, and mostly concerning our german and especially locally based people here in munich, i have to apologize to all international readers and will continue in german:

Japan hat eine nicht nachvollziehbare Katastrophe ereilt, die jeden Roland Emmerich Film in den Schatten stellt. Nicht Japan als Land oder deren Wirtschaft, sondern wie immer traf es die Menschen, und an die wendet sich unsere Spendenaktion.

Wir als chromemusic, haben gerade mitgeholfen die Spendenaktion we-r-japan auf die Beine zu stellen, die direkt an die humanitäre Hilfe der Aktion Deutschland hilft in Japan geht. Die Aktion findet online und offline statt, d.h. man kann seit vergangenem Freitag hier online Spenden. Das Highlight der Aktion findet aber am Freitag am Odeonsplatz statt (zwischen 18 und 21h). Dort kommt es zu Auftritten von unseren guten Freunden Blumentopf, Coconami und anderen, aber besonders interessant wird es wenn direkt Betroffene aus Japan zu Wort kommen, ebenso wie Leute die vor Ort erste Hilfe leisten und darüber sprechen werden. Des weiteren gibt es Versteigerungen von Kunstwerken die uns von namhaften Künstlern zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Mehr zum Ablauf auf der Seite selbst.
Bitte hier per Facebook zur Aktion Rsvp(en)/zusagen und bitte vorbeikommen und Freunde mitbringen am Freitag nachmittag, Vielen Dank!

Online findet man uns unter we-r-japan.de und auf hier auf unserer Facebook Page (bitte die Seite liken und weiterempfehlen) . Es läuft seit Freitag ein Spendenticker online mit, der uns anzeigt wo wir stehen. Das Ganze läuft in Zusammenarbeit mit der Aktion Deutschland Hilft, die tatsächlich jetzt vor Ort sind und geprüfte humanitäre Hilfe verrichten.
Wer mehr darüber erfahren möchte bitte direkt auf unsere webseite gehen und dort kurz alles scannen, unsere Netzgeneration muss nicht lange lesen um ihre Fragen beantwortet zu bekommen. Oder eines der Bilder der Aktion we-r-japan benutzen möchte kann sich hier ein Profilbild für facebook herunterladen.

Ushahidi for the Japan earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear emergency

if you are one of our japanese readers, or happen to have family or friends in the greater area, use Ushahidi. This system is so easy to use,a ccessible to almost everyone and lets people know where to and how to help, or even to avoid further disasters with an instant notifier via text/SMS. If you want to actively do something and help each other, this is one way. it helped a lot of people in kenya, haiti etc so far. Those that need it the most

YUM YUM Top Tunes group on facebook

Honestly ever since we started the YUM YUM top tunes  group (a few weeks back), this has pretty much being the only thing on facebook that is entertaining to me, and its a welcome selection of songs, videos, remixes, covers that are otherwise hard to come across.

Its a closed group (to keep the content YUM YUM related) and the rules are quite simple:

  • every member posts no more than one tune a day (video, mp3, souncloud ..)
  • the music is YUM YUM related (frequent readers know the deal)
  • the best songs get re-blogged on chromemusic

that way not just everything gets posted but rather the good stuff. Or elese it would simply be too much and way too off topic, i ve seen a few good geroups screw up bc of that.

And i found quite a few tunes i never heard before. Seriously its addictive fun and its right now the first thing i check whenever i go on facebook, even before i look for status updates and funny stuff. THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED SO FAR and all the new members, KEEP IT COMING, YOU ARE AMAZING!! ))) Love you guys

The YUM YUM Network presents: Top Friend Music

Maybe some of you guys remember our Top Friend Parties?

Back in the days we had some YUM YUM’s with a special TOP FRIEND Floor, where our Djs played YUM YUM music but of a more electronic kind. After this worked out so well we decided to split the whole thing of and make an own Party with an own concept out of it. We had a good start in Munich, are already hosting a floor in Vienna by now and of course hope to make an own event there soon!

At the time we re-started Top Friend,  the two residents Sei Croccante and me, started the corresponding blog, Top Friend Music. As we both stem from the chromemusic family we’re still following the same brainchild.

We share the music we love with all those nice people who love to hang out with us at the Top Friend Parties.

This friday is gonna be a Top Friend Friday in Munich again, so check the blog and the RSVP cause we’d be glad to have a good time with you!
