On sunday there is a short notice Chromemusic Party going down at Art Babel (Karlstrasse 47a) in Munich. RSVP to the party on Facebook, if you still feel like using facebook, if not just drop by and get your groove on. Last night of Oktoberfest and a Holiday on Monday. So Pandamonium happening in the city anyways, but please let us Nice up the dance! as we always do! Other parties that night are pretty much all happening on some Oktoberfest crap and are purely some tourist shit, that’s why we threw this one together within two days (the three of us felt liek going out on sunday, but no place to go). Good thing Art Babel had nothig going on, so here we are.
Anyhow, busy week for me, after playing the aftershow party at Bundesvision Song Contest (and we played with an attitude to match) on Thursday and playing our very first show with our Dj/Live Band Combo in Hamburg on Friday it’s back to the proper Dj duties in Munich this Sunday, with Max returning from YUM YUM Cologne and D-Nice on his way back from god knows where.
This one’s a family thing and i am happy to play with my folks again. See you in bit. And yes once again: We’ll nice up the dance on Sunday
The party starts at 11pm, djs R us: Chrome, Max Mausser & D-Nice. fee is 6 and yes, we’ll play the latest YUM YUM Top Tunes and our favourites in current set & sound!

After some months break and a few modifications we´re finally back in austrias capitol.Once again the venue will be the lovely “Market” right next to the”Naschmarkt”, where we already had a great party almost a year ago, which got sort of stopped by the police, but these problems are also sorted out. Really lookin foward to a fantastic night with the DJs Chrome and Beware in charge of the music. Get on your dancing shoes – make sure to RVSP on facebook and come by on Saturday.
— Our player is working perfectly on every browser so far (Google Chrome, IE, Safari, All the other Firefox Versions, Opera etc) and on the iphone & the ipad, but not on the latest version of Firefox 5.0. We are hoping that Firefox or Haiku will fix that bug soon! Until then pls use Chrome (best browser at present), Safari (also much better than Firefox), Opera (my favourite Browser) or the Internet Explorer. Firefox these days is what the IE used to be many years ago. Slow, crashfriendly & too big to maneuver.
Here is a word of advice: When browsing the net you have to get used to changing your systems as often as possible and dont get to attached to anything for too long. Since Firefox is the most used browser these days it means its time to change. As always: as soon as something becomes too big its time to change. When it becomes fat and heavy and has too many functions & versatility, its primary function becomes very limited (imagine eating a steak with a swiss army knife) and thats where a new, faster, smaller, more free challenger enters the field. Just as it was with the Internet Explorer before or just as it is with Facebook and Google+ today. You can of course keep both, i use multiple Browsers, multiple networks. Its not too much, if you simply dont care about it too much.
These things are just tools. Its like Spoons, Forks & Knifes – you take which ones needed & appropriate at the moment. Don’t get attached to anything. Everything is impermanent.

Annina who is one of my dearest friends and YUM YUM founders, (she was there right when it all started and actually was also responsible for a lot of input, for a lot of the styles and a lot of great ideas), who now lives in Paris for a few years has finally started her own blog – www.annina.fr– its about Contemporary & Modern Art, Exhibitions her music and all other things related. Coming from the heart of Paris, Annina is quite personal, honest and from deep within and thats just what a blog is supposed to be, i gave it a look for a few weeks before putting it online, cause i wanted to see if this was an ongoing endeavour, but hey – i am quite hooked, so here you go or voila > check out Anninas page and please make sure to check out her video section. Amazing material! The music posted is quite touching and so you can tell where she is coming from, and how this is a progress in each and every way. Her eyes are wide open – Welcome Cinderella!
If i was to do a music video for any of my music, Annina & her folks would be the only people i would ask. The quality is amazing and there is a definite unique feel to it and that feel is her own self, which she now no longer minds sharing with everyone. Lovely! Have fun with her site! You might learn something… but you will definitely have fun.

Resüme der We-R-Japan Spendenaktion
Nach dem Ende der we-r-japan Spendenkation am Odeonsplatz, waren die darauffolgenden Wochen mit Aufräumarbeiten verbunden, da insbesondere wir, die wir es organisiert haben, tatsächlich auch davon erschöpft waren und im Zuge der gesamten Aktion unsere normale Arbeit vernachlässigt hatten.
Das Ganze war eine erfolgreiche Aktion und hat ohne Zeigefinger, sondern auf unsere Art und Weise, auf eine wichtige Sache hingewiesen. Und, wie wir es gerne glauben möchten, aufmerksam gemacht und auch weitere Aktionen nach sich gezogen. Die Diskussion ob ein reiches Land wie Japan das verdient hat, ist lächerlich, wenn man sich mit dem Spenden Buisness auskennt oder sich wie wir damit auseinandergesetzt hat (tatsächlich ist es ein Business, man mag es kaum glauben, es dreht einem den Magen um).
Wir, die Inititaoren (Zehra, Verena, Patrick, Row, Lydia, Judith, Nadine, Robi, Katharina und so viele andere..) möchten uns bei allen bedanken, die mitgeholfen haben dieses kurzfristige Projekt umzusetzen und bei allen, die anwesend waren und bei allen, die uns unterstützt haben (Blumentopf, Stadt München, Green City, die Japanische Botschaft …).Ebenso möchten wir uns bei den vielen Künstlern bedanken, die uns so unglaublich viele, wunderbare Stücke gespendet haben und es immer noch tun, um sie zu versteigern.

Diesen Samstag, 28. Mai We-R-Japan Finale & Kunstauktion
Leider war die Kunstauktion zu kurz um allen gespendeten Werken gerecht zu werden, geschweige denn alles zu versteigern, und desw holen wir das diesen Samstag, den 28ten Mai im Kirsch & Co, direkt am Sendlinger Tor nach! Der nüchterne RSVP zum Facebook Event ist bitte hier abzugeben.
Beginn der Ausstellung ist um 18h. Die Auktion selbst wird aber kaum vor 23h stattfinden und da wir schon mehrmals darauf angesprochen worden sind – es kostet natürlich keinen Eintritt. In der Nacht der langen Musik, in der die Stadt eh auf den Beinen ist trifft sich das alles sehr gut. Die Auktion selbst wird geleitet von Mike Antoine (dem Sänger der Band Superglow) und einem unsere Münchner Lieblingssöhne; organisiert wir das Ganze von der Künstlerin Gülbin Ünlü von Square Dynamics, deren Werk ebenfalls am Odeonsplatz versteigert wurde.

Nach der Auktion lassen wir den Abend ausklingen mit ein paar Djs, das kennen/können wir – da kommen wir her. Djs sind Schu & Max von Blumentopf/ YUM YUM, Tom vom Crux und meine Person.
In Sachen Bühnenprogramm können wir bestimmt noch einiges dazulernen, aber wenn es nach uns gegangen wäre, hätten wir es halb Musik Live Shows/halb Bühnenprogramm gemacht, da wir immerhin nahezu alle aus der Musikszene kommen. Leider war die Auflage das man nicht mehr als 10 min Musik pro Stunde spielen durfte. Das lag weder am Kvr noch an anderen Behörden, sondern an anderen Veranstaltern vom Odeonsplatz. Aber Spass gemacht hat es allemal.
